How did you feel about that burrow Fantasy: I was bit surprised since he dealt with it better than I thought he would. As soon as I lost the 8th game, I just thought "let's just play as I wanted to", so I went in lighthearted. CM: That 8th game may have left you bit wanting more. Fantasy: Yea, I came with target of going 9-0, but I lost 1 game, so it's bit of a shame. CM: Last game before we conclude the interview. We have 9 games today planned as our content today. Is there anything else you prepared ahead for the games today? Fantasy: First of all, I did watch some games my opponent did play. I did watch some but there wasn't anything that particularly alarming, so I just prepared by warming up on ladder. CM: I have 1 more question I am really curious about. This will be last before we conclude. CM: So there is ASL opening up soon. Is there any plans to participate on ASL? Fantasy: I probably will not participate. I don't think I am ready yet so... yea. Well it is somewhat melancholic to see him come back. Fantasy is my favourite terran because he was such an intense opponent for Jangbi to overcome~~~~ On one hand he has a slick style and a magnificent pacing (still displayed in game1 at least) on the other hand having only this showmatch to see isn't much.
Hopefully kids will see this, get hyped and take on his legacy and continue in his footsteps.
So everyone in the chat is saying the 4 going to Saudi will be Bisu Jaedong Stork Fantasy. Would be nice and I hope he stays longer than that, but didn't he say in an interview that he's not comfortable with streaming?

Streaming is not for everyone and Fantasy was always kinda shy (relatively), so I can understand aiming for a full time job at a LoL team and not streaming by yourself. Happy to see him play BW for now though.
Yeah every time Fantasy is in front of a camera he looks like he doesn't want to be there. Can't imagine him calling for funding for Proleague.
Such a pity because based on his ladder games you can tell he's Major Proleague material for sure. And that's him coming back after 10 years of not playing competitively, or not even playing the game at all.

Well, League market with coaching is quite downsized right now with even regular coaches having hard time finding work (nevermind SC transitioned coach like fantasy), so there's some doubt there.
Regarding FantaSy and his short return: I am saddened, because I thought that he would still be in the mentality that he was when he was asked when would you come back. He sounded like well if I were to come back I would need to be completely dedicated and try my hardest. I think he is already better than some players attempting to qualify in ASL. I was excited to see him back. I guess, because being a pro broodwar player is less pro gamer and more pro streamer, that it isn't his cup of tea. I hope KR LoL scene is strong and he can get a coaching position, but that game is old enough to have retired pro LoL players to do that. I personally am not as excited to see him back if he is not all-in, I was wanting to see his innovative builds. I don't think he will do anything meta shifting if he isn't playing professionally
Normally everyone just leaves vs hackers but Fantasy builds a Rax an Ebay and floats his only 3 buildings to 3 corners of the map and waits for the hacker to destroy it.

I've been thinking, I do think being a league coach is the first priority for him. I also think he might be being humble that he's not ready or disguising his return
Based on his skill from these ladder matches he could easily qualify for this ASL's Ro24 unless he got really unlucky prelim groups. But would probably have some trouble getting into Ro16 since he would be seeded as a "low-tier" player into his Ro24 group. Hopefully he decides to keep at it and we see him pop up in KCM/proleague throughout the rest of the year and he participates in the next ASL
