is there an easy way to find barcode players accounts on battlenet broodwar. ive seen arty pull up players profiles directly after playing them w/ out really have to type anything.

I think you can friend request them and then in the chat channel it should have a message indicating that you sent it a friend request to the user and from this you can copy paste their user ID into ladder rankings with ctrl + v

If you want to do it more discretely there is a program by MasterRey which allows you to copy username from the program itself. You can also copy chat from it so you can interpret what the Koreans are saying to you...

you go into "friends" tab and "add player".. add the barcode player.. then you tab out with alt-tab and open your battlenet app. go to "friends settings" and then "view sent friend requests" and voila you got the players account there.

Any good barcode nerd should make a new bnet account which is also a barcode or unrelated to their real account if they know what theyre doing. That way you cant detect who it is except from the gameplay itself which you cant detach from.

You cant open someones profile who isnt online btw. At least from what ive tried. (non-leaderboard)

The command is /profile *name*
