But it's perfect for starcraft, and it's very cheap... so buy it and try it out!

As far as i know DPI helps you aim and doesn't make your mouse any faster. And because of SC's low resolution it doesnt even support 100000000 dpi. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Do they use a software to make it go faster then normal? dude you can increase the sensitivity in windows. Personally i use two steps above the standard speed setting. And 400dpi is plenty, anything over 800 is a waste of money. After all, the most popular mice for Q4 has been 400dpi MS1.1, and for counterstrike the 400dpi MS3.0 explorer.

Also, I think the Logitech Mini is 800 dpi and that makes more sense.

And Logitech mice are really nice, I use one of the wheel mice and it doens't give me problems with SC. It's been in use for more than 4-5 years, but I'm getting the mini optical just in case this one goes bye bye. keyboard...SEM DT-35, wahehehe. Though, I don't know where I could get one >. > Anyways, go for it, and Logitech rocks. ^^ Keep the ball mouse For one it adds to a players hype I mean chicks get all hot for nal ra when he cleans his. When I first thought my mouse was holding me back, I wasted 40$ on an wireless mouse, total waste of cash. Stick with what you have, when it stops working, upgrade.

I actually watched some FPVOD's today of Midas and Stork and there is no way there mouse is 400 dpi or somehow they are making it faster then computer settings allow it. Also, I think the Logitech Mini is 800 dpi and that makes more sense. Since it was released in 2002 and there were only 200-400dpi mice back then i'm sure it's 400dpi. Says so on mine atleast. And DPI is not about speed, it's about precision. Imagine a huge net on your dekstop and a higher DPI has more rows per inch than one with less. it stands for Dots per INCH.
