Some possible problems you may have run into: Not able to open map in 1.16 – What file format is the map saved as? 1.16 cannot open 1.22 maps, neither can it open rough map files (*.chk). Are you using any 1.22-only assets (namely new ramp tiles)? What kind of sprites are you trying to use? If its spell effects, most of them simply don't show up or only play the animation once at game-start. If you are trying to use unit sprites, are they placed as units, unit sprites or pure sprites (do they show up when you open the map in UMS mode? are they selectable? What do the properties tell you when you select the sprites?). If they are unit sprites, are they given to the neutral player (p12)? If its just regular doodad sprites, are they placed within the map bounds? | ||

Pure Sprite 374 (hallucination death animation) does not work in game. You could use Desert doodad sprite 34 (pure sprite 479) or just create locations at those spots and continuously run triggers to create and immediately destroy hallucinated Observers or something. | ||
