i cant stream remastered in fullscreen.
once i go ingame, the bw window on the stream will freeze.
this happens with uscreencapture + obs
i tried it with obs 20.1.3 (32bit), obs 20.1.3 (64bit) and streamlabs obs 0.8.9
"display capture" + obs = no bw at all, stays black, but can capture other stuff on my screen
"game capture" + obs = picking bw or using "capture any fullscreen application" has the same result, as the bw window will never be detected and stays completely black
i play remastered in "fullscreen" and only have 1 monitor.

any idea?

it looks like by trying to get my uscreencapture to work with streamlabs obs, i managed to kill it.... because of 32bit/64bit problems. currently reinstalling uscreencapture.
edit: reinstalled it, im back where i started, freezes once it is in remastered
edit: i cant install the above version because windows is blocking it, although my obs versions i listed were multiplatform obs
edit: problem only persists when using "fullscreen" mode of bw, but i can only play in fullscreen mode

I would like to know why you are installing "UScreenCapture" for SC: R.
I stream with OBS Studio 32 and 64 bit switching around depending on whether I will be playing the old version of SC or the newer one.
Streamlabs is not the issue where you are getting black screen.

it was still on my pc and i was streaming with it the last 8 years.
if i use anything to capture bw, i get the black screen, if i use uscreencapture, i get the first frame of bw, then nothing.
i begin to think this is a windows 8.1 related problem with fullscreen applications.

i have updated my graphic driver card, but it is still not working, anybody has any ideas?

If you have a NVidia card go to NVIDIA Control Panel - manage 3d settings - global settings, and choose high-performance NVIDIA processor.

How about using XSplit? That was the last hope when OBS failed. I can stream 1.16.1 via UScreenCapture and SC:R via iirc game or window capture. Give it a try.

maybe try run the game as administrator also do this on obs. its worked for me for most games

have you tried bebo? is it better than OBS? free?

How about setting BW to windowed fullscreen and then capturing this window with OBS? I'm not streaming, but only recording myself and this works fine.
