really? why? for me, just watching ZvT in the recent months have been so exhausting for me except in the very rare cases where the zerg wins from slightly/moderately behind

I think remaster and ASL2 affect OGN.
Almost a month has passed so I'm wondering if there is any news or updates on this?
No, after remastered version released, they will decide something. OGN already started to launch new BW show program, but they just collect reaction of BW fans now.

edit: I didn't watch the game btw.
I have not seen a zerg totally roflstomping a terran for months now(terran fucking up marine micro against mutas, then lose at minute 9 don't count). And i watch a lot of streams. Most games where the zerg wins is basically at around minute 30 when somehow he manages to break the terran defense and snowball very very very slowly.
Maybe mixing in some hydras may solve the ridiculous cost-effectiveness of mines? Or a muta/speedlord flock actively clearing out mines? Then again terran builds 3 valks and shuts this down instantly.

Lategame Zerg spends either a bunch of units to clear the field or a big chunk of army gets slaughtered. Either way it's the very least very time and resource consuming to clear mines alongside doing what not.
What really bothers me lategame is that zerg must constantly fight "being invincible" meaning that if there's a single relatively big fight in which zerg's army is not performed under a dark swarm - the zerg may have lost the game right there (or at least is put in a severe disadvantage). On top of all that, it is desirable to broodling terran's mech once in a while even though queens are very easy to counter lategame by T.
Not to mention that sometimes the zerg must commit and lose a good part of his army to only realize that the he will lose the fight and to back off.
Which could work is what Zero experimented with sometimes. He planted the third hatch directly on the 3rd gas expansion, which gives a slight but substantial mineral boost (as zerg are usually mineral starved around the transition to lurkers) and gives some more security in securing the third (through 2 sunkens) as well as a faster transition to defilers imo. So Z has to go even more greedy nowadays.
Also Jaedong showed an interesting adjustment in the game vs Mong. He set his rally point on CB basically in the middle of the map, which.
1. prevents mines from being planted for free since vultures have a harder time to do so. 2. can pressure much better since weak points are attacked easier after being identified. I'm pretty sure this will slowly become standard (if Z is in the position to do such things).
A friend of mine also mentioned adding hydras to snipe mines. We discussed it a lot and I didn't really have any big arguments against it in the end. Perhaps less lings and more hydras could work? But a critical mass needs to exist before it would work. And one mine kills easily 8 hydras if it reaches them.

the biggest argument against hydras is gas. it was well known even in the proleague days that the best possible army composition for zerg wasnt just ultra/lurker/ling. the only reason we couldnt see hydras much was because zerg needs so much gas for lurkers, ultras, defilers, scourge etc. like you said, there needs to be a minimum number of hydras before you can start using them effectively and this number just didnt work well with a typical zerg economy
I haven't seen JD try or practice Hydra/Queen combo vs Terran mech recently. Speaking of, how does Zerg decide to go Queens anyways, at what point in the game do they decide that it is going to be a viable option?
I hope Jaedong is busy training some super cool late game anti-mech strategy off the stream to upset Last in Ro16 and later destroy Flash. He must know he need some new gimmicks for the new ZvT meta.
I hope to see people actually using ensnare more, also "offensive or passive" plague-ing if that makes any sense. The computer A.I. does it a lot and it's the most annoying thing to deal with since it's practically unstoppable
