Yeah, ASL's pool map is incredibly imba and harsh, only 5 zergs are already in top 16.

I don't know if anyone else noticed it but for few past streams JD pretty much only practices 1v1 and I think he is pretty serious about it.
He stopped playing BGH, team games, obsing games of other players and stuff like that, he only plays 1v1 and he watches replays of almost all his loses. I wonder how much is he going to improve, so far he is losing quite a lot  I hope we will see results of his practice in ASL (finals)

ye, he always takes tournaments very seariously, that's why he is able to bring his A game most of time

I feel like JD overreaches a bit and really likes to push the envelope in his practice games, at least to me I see him play in general a bit riskier when he's just doing 1v1, maybe it's just me though.

Exactly that's why he is my favourite player, because I am also very competitive He is even practicing on muta micro maps right now. It is first time I see him doing it on stream

Well the way things are playing out in his vsP, he definitely needs to change his game style. Those games vs Free were hard, especially the early zealot pressure. He was getting stretched thin on his DT management in his bases while corsairs batted at his overlords also.

Probably saw the most frustrating ZvT in history. Jaedong was so ahead vs mong, forcing Mong to lift his CC around 8 minutes in. But he couldn't break Mong no matter what after 30 minutes, and died to the only push Mong did in the whole game which was a simply siege towards the middle expos on CB......
