i dont think they need a reason, they will conjure one out of thin air. because haters gonna hate. these things will never stop until we get a better system in protecting the players
As mentioned, trolls will flame for any reason. Flash was talking back during last ASL how he'll get mass pm calling Terran imba which was insulting since he had to work hard to get to where he is right now.
Does Afreeca not have a system like Twitch where you can mod trustworthy people and have them keep the chat from being garbage? It seems like it would be way easier there because you need a Korean SSN to register, so you can't evade bans. I don't understand how this issue keeps coming up--it seems like it would be really important to Afreeca's bottom line to give streamers as many tools as possible to keep their communities from becoming toxic and burning them out.

They can still flame on Fish server or even social media or anywhere else... Like people said - haters gonna hate. What is more Jaedongs streams are most popular, he gets most viewers so as the result he gets most hate.
Unfortunately from my observations streaming is a very tiring job. Even though he gets a lot of money and likes the game, he still has to live with a lot of hate which some people just can't stand - a lot of mental strength is required. You are tied to computer and always have to give your best just because people are watching. So I understand his decision and wish him best.
I hope he doesnt give up on brood war though, ASL3 soon and JD is my favourite player ☺

I'd find it difficult to believe that he would quit I streaming site because of haters to go to a site whose chat of larger streams is arguably a cesspool. Sure moderators can help out, but for someone as big as JD, it'll be filled to the brim with trolls, especially after leaving one sure for haters already; they smell blood in the water
