I play SC1 since a few days & now I want to use hotkeys like CTRL+0-9 to quickly select a bunch of soldiers. My problem is the following : when I select a group of marines by exemple, I press Control+2, and then I try the hotkey by pressing 2 & it does not work ! Instead my camera move downward & the group is not selected Please help me | ||

I already have Numlock on and it wasn't working, I tried to turn it off & it work even worse (the only effet is to move the camera) whereas when it is On, I must hotkey the group with the numeric key above & select with numpad.... Strange keyboard Thanks a lot | ||

That shouldn't be an issue, sounds like you just need to clean your keyboard or remove the caps lock key all together.....or just buy a new Keyboard. If you have a Keyboard where you can customize it, just disable the Capslock key. | ||

I think you'll have to try to tinker with your language settings, keyboard settings,... and you might get it to work. | ||

For example, a common move is to recall a group (1) and issue a command like attack (a) so if you were going to 1a, you'd have to move your hand right (possibly look to see where the 1 key is) then move it back to press a? That's very inefficient compared to just moving your finger up a few keys. | ||

or even better set english as default input language under control panel/keyboard. i am from slovakia and almost never need to use slovak letters. | ||
