On my quest to improve my Korean, I translated these small interview tidbits. They are of minor importance so I hope you won't cut off my head if there are any mistakes. Always thankful for pointing out mistakes!
◆ZERG ▶김가을 감독=의미 깊은 자리에 참석할 수 있어 기뻤다. 선수들에게도 좋은 경험이 됐을 거라고 믿는다. 경기 다 재미있어서 보람차다.
▶Coach Kim Ga Uel: I was happy to be able to participate in such a meaningful event. I also believe that it was a good experience for the players. All games were interesting, so I believe it was worth it.
▶박성준=재미는 있었는데 우승을 하지 못해서 아쉽다. 다음에는 재미 뿐 아니라 승리도 거두고 싶다.
▶July: It’s a pity we weren’t able to win, but it was fun regardless. Next time I don’t want to have only fun, but also achieve victory.
▶마재윤=의미 깊은 자리였다. 내가 승리를 거두지 못해 다른 선수들의 승리가 빛바랜 것 같아 죄송하다. 다음에 이런 자리가 또 있으면 반드시 승리하겠다.
▶Savior: It was a meaningful event. Because I wasn’t able to win games, the wins of my teammates seem to have lost their importance, I am sorry for that. If there will be another opportunity like this, I will achieve victory for sure.
▶이제동=기라성 같은 선배들과 같은 자리에서 경기할 수 있어 기뻤다. 다음에 이런 자리가 또 만들어진다면 그 때는 저그가 우승할 수 있도록 더욱 힘쓰겠다.
▶Jaedong: I am happy that I was able to compete at an event with my seniors, who are like Stars to me. If there’s another event like this in the future, I will do my best to lead Zerg to the victory.
◆TERRAN ▶이재균 감독=종족 최강전이라는 컨셉트는 대단히 오랜만이다. 좋은 선수들과 팀을 꾸릴 수 있게 돼 기뻤다. 우승까지 했으면 더욱 기뻤을 것 같다.
▶Coach Lee Jae Gun: The concept of having the 3 races compete with each other wasn’t used for a long time. I am happy that I was able to participate with a team consisting of such good players. I would be even more happy if we had achieved the overall victory though.
▶이윤열=1승도 하지 못해서 많이 죄송스럽다. 재미있는 경기 했다고 생각한다. 전상욱 선수와 빌드에 대한 의견을 나누기도 했는데 내가 그 빌드를 잘 살리지 못했던 것 같다. 다음에는 더욱 열심히 하겠다.
▶Nada: I am very sorry that I didn’t even win one game. I think fun games were played. I decided on my build after consultation with Midas, but it seems like I couldn’t utilize it very well. I will try harder the next time.
▶전상욱=음.. 재미있었고, 조금 아쉽긴 하지만 이벤트니까 괜찮다. 감사하다.
▶Midas: Umm.. it was fun, it’s a little disappointing but it’s ok since it was a special event. Thank you.
▶최연성=슈퍼파이트가 보다 더 큰 대회가 되기를 바란다. 개인적으로 오늘 이윤열 선수의 경기를 재미있게 봤다. 나도 그렇게 재미있는 경기를 할 수 있는 선수가 되겠다.
▶Iloveoov: I hope Superfight will develop into an even bigger event in the future. Personally I think that Nada’s games were very fun to watch today. I also want to become a player that can show more entertaining performances.
interviews were nice, but the pictures are great hahahaha
for zerg july is saying "meh.. .should have won" then savior is pissed that he lost and jaedong is like depressed
for terran nada looks like a giddy kid playing with the mic, meanwhile midas is planning vengeance, and oov is has his gosuface "yeah i win. yeah i'm boring. so what"
O man, Midas is the worst worst interviewee ever. It's almost pitifully funny. I also think the terrans showed the best games, especially Oov who put on a house of hurt against everyone.
