i sadly discovered SC pro scene last year (only watching), or so, thus missing the glorious days. I do hope JD will deliver again though, so i got to see him and the other giants live

You're right. I bet Flash has some pretty good PvZ too. Jaedong probably can't play protoss well.

He won 2 osls in a row which no other protoss player has ever done (delivering one of the most epic games ive ever seen) and we couldnt see more achievements, because sc1 ended. At that time there were no other individual tournaments so all of the progamers where focused on OSL exclusively. Aside from that, he was finalist on 3 starleagues before. He is inconsistent not overrated.

first sightings of the tyrant? i watched bisu stream last sunday,

Bisu encountered ''hydra'' zerg user on the ladder last sunday
he starts out by joking ''jd jd'' as he úsually does when encountering gosu zergs on the ladder
like how he calls (T)Star ''mini jd''
but in the mid game ''hydra'' displays some high level ling control and amazing scourge control followed up by muta..
the mid-late game is just mind blowing lurkdrop/guards harass, ultra/ling drop in main while splitting map.+ Show Spoiler +

Jaedong wasn't the only zerg good at ZvT. And Flash wasn't the only terran good at TvP. So?^^

His OSL runs have been pretty wanky... And epic depends on the spectator. They were close but that was more due to wanky play so it wasn't really as exciting to me. Don't get me wrong, there were some pretty good games as well but still - the whole thing felt kind of weak to me.

I think it's fair to say that while Stork achieved far more than JangBi, during practice, JangBi was the superior player. I think you're actually under-selling JangBi's skill here. While his accomplishments as a professional gamer may be sugar coated by the fans, his skills as a gamer were never under question by his peers even during his lowest moments while he played as a professional gamer.
