yes. kenzi called jaedong and jaedong confirmed he's still contracted with EG until november.
he's also somewhat upset people are already speculating on him and his future.

he has a twitter account lol. if he was really upset with the speculations he should have just come out with a confirmation on that twitter. this tells me hes still unsure with what to do in the future.

i also find it stupid he can come back to BW without retiring from EG/sc2 first. now theres comfirmation it only end on Nov.

anyway this thread can be closed. and mayhaps reopened on Nov...

So Jaedong comes back in November confirmed?

I mean he hasn't touched SC2 for months.

Also he commented on how happy Flash is streaming as far as I remember.

Well, if he does still have a contract with EG then I'm sure he doesn't want to break its terms. He could just be covering his ass.

he confirmed that he has been playing some BW and that they are trying to get him to play in KCM legends match, which is not a competition but a showmatch series.

Well he might just go to military then and follow the steps of Leta afterwards.
Speculating is what ppl will always do, especially if you're one of the greatest players, why is it so upsetting considering the state of SC2. And btw, what future does he have in SC2?

Hopefully this can be the trigger for Bisu to get his ass to practice seriously again...

Or Jangbi.

Jangbi's so overrated... His only real good match-up has always been PvT, which most protoss players are good at. His PvP was solid and his PvZ was rather meh. Most of the big games he won against zergs was because the zerg made a crucial mistake or got carried away. For example in his series against Zero (in the season where he ended up winning championship). Honestly, there were only two protoss players who were truly good at PvZ. That's Bisu of course and Stork and of those two only Bisu seemed to truly understand the match-up. Stork just plowed through with his insane mechanics and general monstrous play. Kal was also decent at it I guess. Only talking about the last few years of the pro scene, like 2009-2012.

I like that you just name two of the members of TBLS to decide who the only good PvZ players were.

Also Flash was the only person good at TvP. And Jaedong was the only one good at ZvT. Job done! Also I hear their other matchup's weren't bad

Jaedong wasn't the only zerg good at ZvT. And Flash wasn't the only terran good at TvP. So?^^

He won 2 osls in a row which no other protoss player has ever done (delivering one of the most epic games ive ever seen) and we couldnt see more achievements, because sc1 ended. At that time there were no other individual tournaments so all of the progamers where focused on OSL exclusively. Aside from that, he was finalist on 3 starleagues before. He is inconsistent not overrated.

His OSL runs have been pretty wanky... And epic depends on the spectator. They were close but that was more due to wanky play so it wasn't really as exciting to me. Don't get me wrong, there were some pretty good games as well but still - the whole thing felt kind of weak to me.

I think it's fair to say that while Stork achieved far more than JangBi, during practice, JangBi was the superior player. I think you're actually under-selling JangBi's skill here. While his accomplishments as a professional gamer may be sugar coated by the fans, his skills as a gamer were never under question by his peers even during his lowest moments while he played as a professional gamer.

If we are to assume the numerous interviews and tell tales from Afreeca broadcasting jockeys are to be somewhat accurate, there's no reason to be surprised at the general consensus that JangBi was the most skilled guy in the Samsung Khan house during his professional years. And I'm not just talking about their head to head record here (although Stork was famous for talking about his phobia of JangBi during practice). I'm speaking about all the match-ups. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the few people who believe that Stork has a legitimate claim for being the greatest protoss ever, but in terms of pure skill, not achievements, JangBi with his full gears going was a force of nature the likes of which few have ever matched.

I mean he shouldn't be surprised considering we've heard nothing of him. Didn't play in the latest SC2 qualifiers. Wonder what his plan is...

While his accomplishments as a professional gamer may be sugar coated by the fans, his skills as a gamer were never under question by his peers even during his lowest moments while he played as a professional gamer.

lol

Can't but agree with this.

And I have to disagree. Jangbi rose to fame at the end of the KESPA era. He had terrible proleague results and had no pressure to do well in PL while he competed in the Individual Leagues. His wins at the end are still awesome and great to watch, but he is overrated because of how the KESPA era ended. Stork's reign as top two protoss for so many years and consistent PL/individual league results speaks volumes about how much better he was then Jangbi on the main stage.
