Like it is a beta. You're not going to have an easy time finding people to play at 5am EST on Shieldbattery. And from my laddering experiences, you have troubles finding people to play at that time on ICCup too. It can get as low as 20-30 users in the Ladder D/C channel at that time, while peaking at 60-70 otherwise. And that is open to everyone. By playing Brood War in any place but Fish, you have to sort of submit to the fact that it will a less-than-easy process in finding consistent games. Not to mention that Shieldbattery isn't in closed beta so you can find games. | ||

How do you manage to get so upset about not getting an invite? Imo this is primarily the reason they don't invite more people. So the people who shit up this thread with complaints don't get inside and shit up shieldbattery. If I recall correctly they've only had to ban one person so far who was griefing games. And the amount of unpleasant experiences I've had with other people I can count on one hand. I'm sure the last thing the devs want is to spend time moderating on their server rather than actually working on Shieldbattery itself. | ||

I think I was among the first to subscribe for an invite (since I subscribed about 1 hour after shieldbattery was announced if I recall correctly). | ||
