There will be a spoilerfree cast the day after the casts (VODs should also follow the day after that) - Sundays at 19:00 GMT (+00:00). Main casters will be Sayle and Cats_Paw. Others may join in or substitute them if one of them can't make it.

I fear that players might not pull through those 7 weeks just to get to the ro32. I already talked with eon on skype about this, but wanted to write it down here as well for everyone who's worried about the format of the preliminaries. Yes, playing 1 bo3 per week is a bit drawn out and may very well lead to some players not pulling through the whole 7 weeks. This is the one (and only?) disadvantage that we came up with when discussing the format. Changing it to play more bo3s per week is hard because of the constraints of the format we chose. After every bo3 match, we need to collect all the replays, results, verify them and update the total standings table. Then we need to determine the matchups for the next bo3 based on those standings. Because we don't have a software that does this for us automatically instantly, we need to do it by hand and that takes time. The reason we went for this format, despite this flaw, are its many benefits, some of which are: - everyone plays same amount of matches (no bo1 and you're out) - flexible schedule (new matchups will be posted on Monday and you have until Saturday to reschedule your match if you can't make it at the designated time) - fairly assesses the best players while also giving weaker players a chance to play interesting matches against opponents of similar skill - lets you know who is your opponent almost a week in advance, giving you time to prepare very specific builds for that particular matchup/player - it provides fair seeds for the 32-elimination bracket - gives entertainment to viewers following the table standings of players after each week (much like a Ladder stage)

Seems to me like theres a lot of strong foreign zergs though and both medusa and hbr stats indicate Z>P Nowadays apparently every map, that has a 50% winrate in any TvX is Terran favored. And yeah, Medusa is so T favored, that it contributed to the creation of the 6 dragons.

I've read a lot that FS is slightly T favoured even though the stats seem to indicate its balanced edit: I looked at neo medusa stats, medusa stats are indeed horrible for terran. hard to go mech without missile turrets go figure

If you can't make it to the first round, you can start with a 0-2 score in the first round and then win all your games in the next rounds ^^
