And it better not be SLOW PACED AS ALL HELL like War3 is where every unit has 1000 health and deals 50 damage per hit, and they hit like once a second. I really don't know how they can implement a hero carries an item that gives bonuses thing with Starcraft without being hokey. The whole heroes, experience and inventory thing is too Tolkien-esque fantasy to be taken seriously in a game that's supposed to be modern or post-modern. In fact, to the poster who mentioned something like "you all want SC2 to be exactly like SCBW!", I would like LITTLE better than SCBW in beautiful graphics. Maybe a couple of new units for each race. That's it though. Then all they need to do is weave a great storyline around it (and I don't question their ability for a second) and voila, the next Starcraft. Oh and they definitely, for the first few years, need to be VERY receptive to balance criticisms, especially from the pro-gaming community. Blizzard needs to think of StarCraft like a huge Jenga tower.

I think it's probably bullshit, but I still have a bit of hope. http://sc.gosugamers.net/news.php?id=5522 If blizzard likes to do one thing ahead of schedule, it's announce their games. If the game was about to be released, you would have heard about it from blizzard years ago. Unless of course, they're talking about feb/march of 2011.

and it's SC's many "flaws" that has been a major part of makeing it great, all the little things that probably werent planned. Like.. how you can block some units from passeing between them if you build in a certain way.. or the scarab that doesnt allways kill stuff.. observer not getting killed if you place it over the turret while its being built, even the flying drones... drama- and fun!!! Thoose are all good things in my book.. *votes for another expansion.. ![]()

Cause then Id still have SC and thats fine by me. An expansion with new units is like the best thing I can imagine of right now. Or make SC play like Allegiance if anyone ever played that. Its like RTS mode but other people can go into FPS mode and control a single spaceship and stuff.

Fluid movements, smooth surfaces (non-boxy! I hate that shit War3)on characters, faces, landscape, terrain. If this means waiting another five years for systems to generally be good enough to handle them, so be it. In fact, I would prefer no mention of a Starcraft II for another five years because I want to procrastinate on having to worry about it/ having anxiety over it. Blizzard needs to think of StarCraft like a huge Jenga tower. Too tired to read your whole post, but I read the first 2 lines. A lot of people seem to forget this, because it was only mentioned when WC3 first came out: WC3 is a mix of rts and rpg. For those who remember when wc3 first came out, they were soo excited about making a game that was something never before seen on the market, it was a mix of 2 genres. You can google it somewhere.
