1. The Windows 7 registry fix (assuming you are running W7.) TL thread link. This worked until I had to do a repair-install of Windows 7 (for unrelated reasons, which probably undid the fix) 2. Running Brood War in Windowed Mode (I've had zero color issues with running BW in Windowed Mode. You can easily do it with iCCup's launcher.) | ||

I just reinstalled SC again and did the tl thread fix again and also tried the window mode fix. I don't know why nothing it working T_T | ||

To test if this would even work, hit up L-CTRL + L-SHIFT + ESC to open up Task manager. Then under Processes search for explorer.exe. Right click it and select End Process. Then under File select New Task (Run...) and search and run starcraft. After the game, Run explorer.exe again (just type it in, you don't have to search for it) to resume normal windows operations. I can post the contents of the batch file if this solution works for you. GL | ||

The .bat fix, the tl thread download thing, the leave open screen resolution, a ton of different changing of the properties of starcraft, and then open in windowed mode. with all of these (sometimes in combination with eachother) it's all rainbow-y both in menu and in game. Starting to feel like going out and buying an old windows 98 computer for 20$ and installing it on there would be less work | ||

Before I got same problem together with random freeze during watching replay or playing BW on windows 7 and someone told me to update my os to SP1 and it worked for me maybe it can also fix the color bug. Not 100% sure tho. | ||
