Seem interesting Mini been trying to solve this over an hour. imgur.com Took me long enough to find this lol. Some of it's in Korean though. Good luck. Apparently Mini started after watching firebathero first play it. After a couple hours, he gave up and stopped broadcasting XD The forums when I tried looking for this map literally are flooded with "how many times do you think Mini/fbh will say 'oh i think i got it now'?" LOL good luck Download the first one. The _C file is for those who cleared the previous version of the map and skips to the newer levels https://cafe.naver.com/edac/93739If you can't read Korean, here are the buildings you need to build in each stage to complete: + Show Spoiler + Stage 1: Arbiter's Tribunal Stage 2: Gateway and Stargate Stage 3: Nexus, Gateway, Stargate Stage 4: Every add-on (doesn't have to be connected to a building). When you lift buildings they blow up Stage 5: Stargate, Starport, Science Facility Stage 6: Hive, Creep Colony, Spawning Pool, Evo Chamber, Hydra Den, Spire, Queen's Nest, Ultra Tavern. You can't use Nydus. If you run out of drones, you get a new one. If you have >2 drones, the left-most drone will die Stage 7: Stage 8: Stage 9: Stage 10: Stage 11: Arbiter, Defiler Mound. If you build on white tiles, all drones and buildings get destroyed. (Mini gives up after 2 hours on this stage; and fbh takes 4 hours 1 minute on this stage. He looks at all of the building sizes like if a worker can fit behind a certain building) Stage 12: Stargate, Starport (fbh took 1 hour 50 minutes) Stage 13: 7 Command Centers, Academy. Academy must be built on white tiles. You die if you try to squeeze through refineries. You can't build Factories, Hives, sunkens, spores Stage 14: Stargate, Robotics, Templar, Science Facility, Hive. Any worker that completes a 4x3 building gets removed Stage 15:
Stages 7-10 and 15 I couldn't find on either fbh's or Mini's stream, so I can't see what the instructions are. If you screenshot them, I can translate
Apparently there's a 2 player version of the map too https://cafe.naver.com/edac/101617
Oh sweet. thanks for the translation as well.

Does anyone know where one can find this video on the internet? I’m pretty sure I encountered that on one of Tasteless/Artosis’ YouTube channels.
I’ve definitely seen it and it wasn’t on a live stream, so there is a VoD out there somewhere

So team,
Played to high E rank, however, the level of smurf (300apm+) and people who have played this game for 600+ hours and still in E Rank is too high.
This makes the game very very unenjoyable as you get one or two matches out of 10 that have people with the actual E-Rank skill level and the rest shouldn't be vsing new people.
There is also a hacker "Steamer" who sits in this divison as well who uses maphack and reacts to everything instantly, and I get matched up with this person too often therefore I will be dropping this game for the meantime.
it was a fun stay, however this game is not new player friendly even as a legacy SC2 player.
Have a good one all and GGs!

Yeah the player pool is so few. I always came across Korean Players on the ladder. They wrote Korean stuff from the beginning.

Have a good one all and GGs! I've played Steamer several times and I never got the impression that he's a maphacker.

If your intention was ONLY to play vs. E players all the time without challenging yourself to grow then I understand you. But if your goal was to become better you should stay and play more. Believe me, iCCup was hell for a new player, losing at least 20 games in a row was very normal at start.
Anyway gl but it's always sad losing newcoming players. Pls stay.

I started this game in April, Diamond 2 (master WOL) sc2 player and am currently always bouncing between F and E rank (1150-1250 MMR) in broodwar.
I must say the game itself is enjoyable even with all its shortcomings, but I think the skill level is far too high for anyone new to pick up this game.
I thought that I could at least get to D rank or something as a legacy SC2 player but I get absolutely stomped by anyone over 1400MMR, literally 0 chance to win, out macroed and out microed.
Is this because of the playerbase only consisting of people who have played 20+ years now? Or is F-rank only for smurfing?
There are quite alot of people down at those lower ranks that are much better then you would expect. Because making a new account especially at the start places you around 1500, alot of cheesers hover C-B rank right away. If you actually try to learn the game youll end up dropping, so you E and D ranks are filled with either surprisingly good players trying to improve or terrible cheesers.
I will say it is a bit different during korean hours for me, almost all E-D rank korean players I find are either much better or much worse then the foreign equivalents. I have seen some extremely good players at these low ranks with extremely good responses. Point being, you probably do not suck as hard as you think you do. When I watch streamers vs B rank players they are not really much better, and usually I do not find much improvement at C rank either when I fight them which is weird.

Have a good one all and GGs! Alot of that APM is spam against these lower level players. I will tell you that alot of it is just knowing what builds will get you results. Super defense macro playstyles are just really hard since they take a ton of knowledge to play since there are so many situation you can get in. Focus on timings or midgame all ins since they give you a much simpler build to learn and youll get results faster as a newer player. If you go straight for the super macro builds you will lose for a very, very long time.

Also, cheesing doesn't mean a player is inferior, Flash also likes to cheese a lot. I'd argue that cheesing is not easier than a safe build, it just results in more quick chaos. I'd highly recommend putting a lot of practice into cheese strats as well as safe builds.

When is Flash discharged from the military?

Flash is semi-competent in macro games too, from my limited understanding of Brood War.
I think it’s a good way to learn, 100%. Executing one build tight is a good start, and an aggressive, early-hitting build cuts out a lot of divergence and the knowledge needed.
‘I am not afraid of a person who knows 10000 kicks. But I am afraid of a person who knows one kick but practices it for 10000 times.’.
I think Bruce Lee was correct, I’m assuming he was talking analogously about SC ladder, but if not it’s certainly applicable.
At the same MMR, a player who plays standard, has to learn reactions to what the opponent is doing, and managing lategame is going to be a considerably better, more well-rounded player vs a cheeser.
I’m biased as I resolutely play standard, find it more fun. I bumped my PvZ in SC2 like by 30% by just saying fuck it I’ll learn some all-ins really tight and stop trying to play macro games, I did considerably better but I don’t think I was any better at the game by swapping between big blink stalker +2 allins and soul training it.

Making a new ID will put you vs the kind of players you normally face. I frequently play unranked 0 games played players at 2400. Hidden MMR is associated with bnet account, not ID. To make a completely new account you’d need a new bnet account and to buy Starcraft again.

When people first start out in the game they will hover 1400-1600. If you start right out with cheese and gimmicks youll most likely raise up into a C-B rank and get stuck there, while if you try to do macro play youll probably get stuck around E-D at the start then get D-C stuck for awhile until you get way better.
Also, even if you do get stuck at the same opponents when you make a new account you will gain/lose more points. Spamming new accounts and cheesing over and over will let you raise you mmr up since youll get more for a win and cheesing is easier to do then to beat so youll have an advantage vs most macro players until much higher mmr.
