Ofc, most people agree that Blizzard's ee han timing here was pretty awful. | ||

Why does anyone want to support Blizzard when they do stuff like this? What do we do? Do we create a BW replica so we can have tournaments? This is really sad. I Hope TL puts this on the front page... we can't tolerate this shit. Fuck man... Kim Carrier should get OGN to boycott SC2 unless Blizzard shuts up about fucking licenses for BW. | ||

AND Of course they have to wait until the FUCKING FINALS, just like they waited until 2007 before doing anything about Brood War on TV. FUCK YOU They're not even making money of this. All they're accomplishing, is killing what's left of StarCraft 1. If this was a StarCraft 2 tournament, it would be allowed to run on its own, because it has a prize pool under $5000. But because it's Brood War, it has different rules. This OBVIOUSLY means that they just want to kill the game. Otherwise, it would have the same rules. These rules aren't even COMPARABLE to each other. They kill off the scene of their most loyal fan base to make sure people buy their newest expansion at £30/copy. Fuck I hope this gets a ton of negative publicity on gaming sites or that's a huge fucking injustice there. edit: also just read the part about afreeca getting hit with copyright lawsuit. nobody can say this isn't hard evidence they're trying to kill off the BW scene to make way for SC2. | ||
