Oh yeah, he grew this big chunk of new-brain specifically for stacraft. It just happened to bulge his head a bit, so no army. How about that.
I've only seen a couple of games of HOT's, but heard a lot about him. Maybe he'll come back as a coach or advisor.

All progamers will go to military service. Period.
Nobody 'really' cares if they're progamers. Yeah, progaming is big in Korea but you only get exempt from military service if you're a national soccer player.
Oh, they can avoid military service by getting fat, becoming blind, chopping their legs off etc. ~_~;
But they'll get something worse... like jail or being exiled.

that one starleague when he played nada in groups, and at the time nada was the fucking invincible pimpmaster macro-tacular terran god.
The map was bifrost, H.O.T. goes early evo chamber, 3 hatch no lair, and goes pure HYDRA after his first few lings. Nada has probably never seen that strat before, and is so flustered that he lifts his cc while building a comsat. H.O.T. runs around his small groups of hydras, jabbing at nada's rine/med combo here and there. Nada is reluctant to chase, reluctant to stay, can't do anything. When he finally commits himself to attacking, H.O.T. catches him with a PERFECT flank with another group of hydras and absolutely owns him. It's GG like a minute later.
Of course, H.O.T. went on to not win anything for like 3 or 4 years but who gives a fuck.

Boxer is too old to enter military, I believe koreans enter the military at age 20, and return to civilian life by the time they're 22 right?

hot is a good memory back to the old days. the first 1st-person vod i saw was he vs themarine which was really exciting at that time. i hope he will be doing fine in the army.

HOT has always been one of my favorite players. Obviously in the past couple years he hasnt been in the 1:1 leagues at all, but I will always have a soft spot for him. Wish him luck TT
