Most GSL-produced maps were made by Korean community members, and aside from Daybreak and Tal'Darim Altar, I've got to be honest and say most of their other maps aren't really as good as some of the ones made by ESV.

Well considering they're forcing it on the players. I can see why some people might want to protest.

I most certainly do not like this format and the results are going to be all over the place. They took one of the most prestigious leagues and turned it into a circus.

I much rather it be a complete switch. Jump with both feet in. Don't tippy toe.

Wow im shocked they joined it like this. I thought they would have a seperate league, just played by the players. Like teams would play a 7 games series of broodwar, followed by SC2 and have a seperate ladder, with maybe a combined scoring for playoff placement.

Pretty crazy, a little nervous that this will just end up being bad for both games

SC2 should not be used for ace match

I'll be shocked if the SC2 games won't look like early GSL matches where T & P players do a ton of 1/2 base builds because comfort level to play beyond that isn't there yet in terms of feel and game sense

Park Yong Woon (T1): Looking at the stats, and the fact that SC2 is the latter half of the series and the Ace match, we're looking at a 6 : 3 ratio of SC2 to SC1.

I'm scared that the quality of the games, in both BW and SC2, will be quite low. All of a sudden they are forced to play two games professionally.

I think it's fair to say that the pinnacle of BW skill has been reached, and it will only go downhill from here.

SO from what I got, its 3 Bw 1v1 followed by 3 1v1 SC2 and then ace match (SC2)?

Can players play sc1 and sc2 or they have to pick?

i like how bw pros can find sc2 funny but some tl bw hardcore posters dont

i'm all for bw but everyone knew this was inevitable, i dont get why some people is still crying (time to adjust or leave).
i dont think some people even tried to enjoy the game because bw was THE game, well its time to embrace sc2 and see if it can turn out as fun as bw (or at least close to it).
