Calm for the third straight anti-team pick. Always works. We need some greater selection in zero pointers. x)
Totally agree about all the good value middle value players. That's where the value is. And also on the teams, I think Stars and Khan are both pretty good value over the other teams at 3 points.
I don't get it: Can I trade the Anti-teamers with absolute scrubs in the first 3 rounds, so that it sums up like 1+1+1= 3, instead of 13 like at the start? Or what?

Someone like Flash becomes a VERY hard sell for 10 points. He's less likely to get a +1 for team winning, since the team has an arguably lower chance to win, and while he's likely to get +1 appearance and +2 win, he won't get two wins/ace points, so you are totally right. Much better to go for multiple lower tier/cheaper players who are likely to play and win, but aren't the ace match/10 point guys.
I think really the player points should have been adjusted to account for the lack of ace match, but it's a bit late now.

No, you can only trade for someone of higher value. Like if you had fantasy(8) you could trade for flash(10). Its the opposite on your main team.
Brave: Samsung's lineup feels quite weak still, and I think Brave will thus get a lot of games this season - despite not being one of the "top dogs" of the team. He does, however, have great stats and this is certainly his time to shine. Effort: 5 points for Effort? Deal. Flash: I Heard he's pretty good. Basically, all the other seasons I have avoided the 10 point b-word players without success. So this time I wanted to try something completely different, and base my team on monsters and upcoming talents...and that other guy (I'll say his name in a sec). Jaedong: Also supposed to be pretty good. Furthermore, through his recent interviews it seems to me that his moral is good after having switched to T8. I'm hoping this'll show in his play. Rock: There, I said his name. Just the only 0 point player - making the rest of my team possible. That being said, I don't think he is able to disappoint me more than he already has. Also, he is on ace, so I do think they'll let him play quite a few games. Wooki: Flash told me to pick this guy. Team ACE: Not only does ACE allow for some really strong players, but ACE also has a really nice lineup this season. So I actually think they'll do quite well despite the harder competition.
Anti Team Free: He's pretty good, but stars doesn't seem to play him a whole lot, and he is definitely far from his prime. Ggaemo: It pains me to but ggaemo on my anti team, but being in the air force really seems to have taken its toll on him. It's a rapid decline despite showing some interesting games last season. Roro: Played poorly at the end of last season. I don't see this changing anytime soon, considering his team isn't exactly zerg heaven.
well here is my team guys mind you I know NOTHING about bw, if anyone could recommend any tips or if there is anything completely wrong with my bracket please tell me :D
Main Team 3 - great ACE has two solid zergs now, and I feel great will get both more playtime and wins than ggaemo. He wasn't too hot last season, but the Khan fan in me has faith. 6 - Light Light will be a top tier Terran this year, and I finally have faith in his TvP to some extent. Stars only have one top Terran, so he'll get a lot of playtime. 2 - Modesty I decided to take some faith in STX. Modesty made a couple good OSL runs, and now is the time for him to break out in SPL when his team needs him. 4 - Reality Khan's best Terran will play quite a few games and is poised for something great this season. Turn and Sharp will play too, but Reality will lead them to victory. 4 - Shuttle My STX faith continues, as Shuttle is the top Toss on the underdog squad. Hey, he beat Flash, what's not to like about that? 8 - Stork (captain) Song Byeong Gu, my captain, my king. Stork forever! Too old? No way, he was in an OSL final only a year ago. Too lazy? He is now captain, and has little choice but to be disciplined. Stork will destroy everyone in 2012! 3 - Team Samsung KHAN You gotta pick your favourite team, it just makes it more exciting when they win.
Anti Team 4 - Crazy-Hydra KT actually has quite a few zergs, and Crazy Hydra didn't impress me last season. I considered going with Action, but I think Action will get more games played even if he wins few of them. 3 - HyuK SKT1 will get wins, which will hurt me, but Hyuk will not be fielded often, as they have much better Zergs (albeit less entertaining). 6 - Snow This hurts me, as Snow is one of my favourite Protoss players. But CJ is so deep that Snow is only their #3 Toss! With only 3-5 games per set, Snow will probably be fielded less often than Horang2 and probably Movie as well.
Hmm, I should have justed picked an all SKT1 team like the one that won last year, eh?
Is the hype about Wooki solely because Flash said something then? Cause his actual record is not brilliant and is very limited.. Brave, By.Sun and Grape all looked more impressive as up and coming P's to me. This reminds me of when they signed Action seemingly based on his performance in one game against Flash (which he lost anyway).
Main Team 4 By.Sun - Rookie of the Year. Coach Park seems to favour him recently, so I would expect him to appear more often compared to last season.
5 Calm - This is a very hard decision. I'm basing on that interview of Calm that's he is training hard for the upcoming season. Highly likely to appear in every match.
4 firebathero (captain) - FBH. Everyone knows him. Did really well for the previous season. There's no reason not to put him in my main team for such a low cost. Also highly likely to play in every match.
6 Light - Pillar of Woongjin now. You don't see Light slumping often, and he's going to appear in every game along with ZerO and Neo.G_Soulkey.
1 Sharp - No particular reason to have Sharp in my main team, except he's a 1 pointer, and is from Khan. He's a decent player, but I don't think he will actually appear much when Reality and TurN is around.
5 Tyson - I love Tyson and Jaehoon, but Jaehoon is a 6-pointer. However, I don't really think he will appear much along with Jaehoon, which is really unfortunate, as I love their gameplay.
5 SK Telecom T1 - Highly unlikely to lose ANY to any team except to Team 8 and CJ, if standards are the same as last season. Also my favourite team obviously.
Yes, it's all KT players on my Anti(cue Imperial March). I don't really think Action and Perfective will appear so often. Mind is really a gamble, since he's decent, forms the chinless team with Stats, and since he was bought over to KT, it's uncertain whether he will play for KT often or not.
Summary
I'm doing a no-trade FPL run similar to last season, except now I'm making my anti full of players from a team, and my main with players from every other teams. Sort of a mini experiment to see how well my FPL goes with such configuration. Of course it's a huge gamble putting KT players into my Anti, but I'm expecting them to finish in the bottom half of the league table.

When Bisu praises Wooki as well, you know he's going to be an impressive Protoss player in the future. I really want KT to play Wooki in every match, because he does need experience playing in televised matches.

Main Team 6 Killer (captain): miniDong won the in-house T8 tournament, and he's at 6 points (cheaper than sea, and equal with baby). I just am putting my faith in killer to be the second star behind jaedong for T8. He's also a good captain to make since it's not like if he slumps some he won't be able to play at all; he should show up pretty consistently in the lineup. Team 8 has 5 spots to fill, and I really wouldn't expect ryul, speed, or sang to show up much.... 6 Leta- Leta is good, and he's one of the players I genuinely feel has such a passion for the game. He was so pumped when he beat flash in the playoffs, running out of the booth and trying to pump up the crowd. That's the kind of energy a player needs to come back after a long off-season and still be strong. Protoss interviews say the maps are bad for protoss, so as CJ's top terran he may be carrying a lot of weight and terran may be expected to do well this PL. I originally had bogus for 7 points, but I needed an extra point or else I would have been stuck with ditching effort for a 4 pointer, or get the rock, or choose a non-5 point team. Plus I hate bogus for screwing up my anti-team so much last year, jumping to the top and never having a good person to trade him away for (plus I stopped caring about doing well, since I was so awful). 5 EffOrt- I'm pumped for effort's return--even making the winged picture of him from the korean air OSL advertisements my desktop background in august, and hydra never really exited me too much. He'll be CJ's top zerg in my eyes and his interviews make him sound so eager to play again. He has the drive, the practice, the skill, the fanboy love, so why not? 4 n.Die_soO- do you realize soO got 61 points last fantasy pl, tied for third behind bsiu and movie?, and ended with 13-2? That he made the OSL semifinals before being trashed by jangbi, defeating killer, sea, and hiya? He's skt's top zerg, and I expect him to show up a lot and do well. I expect SKT to send out bsiu and fantasy as their "guarentees" in the lineup, and the rest is a mix of soo/best/sun/ssak/s2/whoever is doing well. Soo should get plenty of playtime. 3 wooki- in my absolutely crappy team last fantasy PL (my first season), I traded for P7GAB early and he won me good points; had a 8-5 finish in pl. And now flash is even hyping him up? He either will share the KT protoss line with stats or take it over completely. 3 points is a steal for him. 1 Bbyong- surprising to me that he is 1 point. he fits snugly on my team, as part of CJ Entus. For a 1 pointer to fill the slot he could get me points for a CJ entus win. And he actually showed up in proleague with a little 5-4 record at end of last fantasy proleague, granted CJ had that one day of playing nobodys wherebbyong was the ace at the end of the season when things were decided. But Bbyong played in the playoffs, and he really could be CJ's second terran. Only problem is that snow/movie/horang2/leta/effort will take his spots in proleague, but he could show up some. People say the maps aren't too good for protoss, so maybe a second terran can take one of CJ's protoss spots. 5 CJ Entus- CJ was my team last fpl and was the top team in fpl standings; I like them and really they're honestly my favourite team but I have to root for skt because of lub for fantasy. CJ a damn solid team, and can get a lot of 3-0 or 3-1 victories. Team 8 is also a good pick for winning matches 3-0 or 3-1, while I would expect the other 5 point teams to not do quite as well point wise in the bo5 format. You realise SKT was carried a lot last FPL rounds by being 6-1 in ace matches.
Anti Team 4 Crazy-Hydra- KT has Hoejja, action, and crazy hydra as the zerg line, and I would consider action to be the best among them (but damn, hoejja had a strong playoffs). Flash is guaranteed to play, and they also have mind, wooki, and stats. That's a lot of people that are good to fill only 4 non-flash spots in a bo5 format. He may not show up much. 5 RorO- needed 5 pointer anti-team, and I didn't really like the appeal of any of the 6 or higher points (baby too risky since he'll play everygame, maybe tyson as protoss may not be too good). Roro is mediocre imo and a samsung zerg, etc etc. I'm hoping shine can maybe steal his spot as well--in his interview it seems shine really is committed to progaming, and I hope he practiced enough to be the samsung zerg line. I also don't know if samsung will do super well--it's rumoured to be tough maps for protosses, and without a legend of the fall magic the samsung protoss heavy team may falter some. If samsung loses 1-3 or 0-3 there is a chance roro won't even get to play. 4 s2- well, if I expect soO to be skt's zerg, then with bisu/fantasy/best/soO/by.sun, there again isn't much leniency to have s2 in the lineup a whole lot.
Main Team Captain : 10 Flash - I chose Flash because I believe in Him to come back as a greater robot after his surgery was successful. 5 Mind - He's just that good 3 Perfective - This guy was a baller during the post season last season and I just had to pick him up 3 Shine - I love him because he is my favorite zerg in WMF. 3 Wooki - This guy was a good protoss for WMF since Pure was too busy looking at himself in the mirror. He also has a cool name P7GAB. 1 Reach - I saw the list and saw Reach as 1 point and thought to myself what a steal! Team KT Rolster
Anti Team 4 By.Sun - He's still a skt1 protoss so i put him as my anti 5 Calm - He wasn't very impressive last season except for the fact he made it to ro8 of a msl. 4 pretty[gm] - This guy was on a slump last season so Im hoping he slumps again.
*I may create a new team based on the reaction of my choices. After having a long time to think I decided to replace Bisu with By. Sun and Roro with mind.
Main Team 7 Bogus: Given STX's performance over the recent years, They have come to rely on Bogus having to play all the time. That is explanitory. 1 :Guemchi Yall gonna get Gshizzled! 6 :Neo.G_Soulkey He was a solid performer last season, he will continue to perform at the same time. 2 Piano: Everyone underestimates ACE's players. Piano had some good games this season and with the removal of winners league, Piano is set to perform above expected levels. 3 sHy: sHy is a promising rookie to look forward to. 8 ZerO: (captain) Blatant fanboyism 3 Woongjin Stars:More Blatant fanboyism
Anti Team 5 Action:Action has not done well at all last season. I don't expect him to get back up to his A game in the near future. 4 free: Free, hitting B team last year, got back into A team, but never really did much with that. I can't see him doing well nor even playing this year. 4 Kal: Got into ACE, but don't think that the ACE enviroment will help him rebound from his slump at all
I have pretty much put my entire eggs into "KT will suck" basket. 3 KT players, Action, Stats, and some random 1 point guy on the anti-team. Hoping that the format will cause them to revert back to KTFlash again.
this would be my alternate team (real team posted above). Someone should do this for the lulz, and it's actually a damn good team:
"Nose Chin Line" Main Team 7 Bogus captain- solid terran in fantasy, and a top tier Nose. 1 Where- a 1 point zerg, and a big nose as well. Second to Bogus. 7 Stats- He's a good protoss. And he used to be waldo. You'll be able to find him in the KT lineup. Chincredible chintensity. 5 Mind- Ironically named Mind when he should have been named Chin, he could be a second terran to flash. Terrans are expected to be strop on the new maps. 4 Kal- a former STXer, a team known for its chins and noses. He should carry chin power over to air force ace, having lost his true powers a few years ago with his surgery. Many people become reinvigorated at ace, and Kal could be no exception, growing his chin back out. 3 Classic- the last holder of the chin line; he's also a frequent proleaguer and STX's second terran. I debated putting him on my real team, but needed a protoss (wooki). He should hold his own in PL and should show up every match for STX. I'm surprised more people haven't really picked him. 3 Woongjin Stars or samsung khan. or stx soul to celebrate their embrace of chins and noses (but you have space to fill up 30 points and stx is only 1; or find a 3 point zerg with a big nose or chin, I didn't look hard)
edit- it took me like 20 seconds to make this team, but my real team took a lot longer. yet this is actually a good team in my view.... T_T
