10 FlaSh - Going to continue his dominance and he's still the unmatched ace of KT.
4 BeSt - I feel like I should cheer for a protoss and after the expensive cost of FlaSh and Team 8, he'll put up decent numbers that'll produce results
5 EffOrt - I'm high on him and his aggressive play makes him my favorite player. Rumoured to be ripping up in-house tournaments..He's backk ;D
2 Modesty - Cheap Cost for a low risk high pay player, he's made some trips to OSL/MSL, good sniper, I believe in him
The Coming out party:
1 Where - Banking on some production from him after some successful run in the Proleague last year
3 Perfective - I'm sensing breakout season after an amazing run during the playoffs
The Anti Team:
Kal -Military ace effect
ggaemo - he's had a strong run near the end but...I dont see him doing well now that he has to face more quality competition
Action - I just dont see him producing results this season...he was struggling in the playoffs and near the end...and with MinD...I dont see him getting a lot of...Action.. yeaaa!

Your anti team can have as much as up to infinite points as long as it has a minimum of 13 points. Your main team is the one that has a point limit. And I changed my team because I'm not a real man enough to stick with it.

The thing is distribution of toss talent is heavily tilted. If Wooki had been a SKT1/Samsung/CJ player, no one would care. Just like if Sun/Brave/Grape were KT or T8 players, people would hype them to no end. Wooki gets love because the best tosses not on SKT1/Samsung/CJ are the likes of Stats, free, Jaehoon, Han, etc. It's much easier to look good when the competition sucks.

I'm having the hardest trouble with my anti-team.
I put Crazy-Hydra and herO[join] in there, but now I need a 7-point player.
But they're all pretty damn decent. Sea, Stats, Movie? Can't pick them.
I don't know who Bogus is though
Hydra as my captain  and that's all I've figured out so far.

JangBi - one might say that he wasn't doing too well in previous season, but iam sure that with OSL gold his confidence and ability to perform in PL will go up.
Light - should be sent out a lot, and if he keeps performing like he did previously, these 6 points spent on him are going to pay off quickly.
Sea - along with Jaedong, he should rack up nice amount of wins for Team8.7pts is quite a lot, but with such teammates our favorite terran should be in good shape.
EffOrt - kind of a gamble, but its not like he came back to SC 1 month ago, and everyone who was following the scene before his retirement knows that this guy is capable of huge things.
Modesty - decent pick for 2 points, too bad he's on such bad team (sorry STX fans)
BByong - here i was hesitating if i should go with promising 1 pointer or a bench guy from SKT/Team8 to bring me points for team's win.But its not like CJ is going to lose all it's games, and I am hoping for at least 2-3 appearances of this kid.
Samsung KHAN - KHAN HWAITING
Anti Team:
Kal - went to ACE, in a slump. I don't expect him to do well at all.
M18M - mediocre protoss who shouldn't appear much, in addition on ACE roster.
Snow - didn't do too well in last season, Movie/Horang2 should play instead of him.

5 EffOrt - Dude, EffOrt's back! EffOrt has always disappointed me, and he'll probably disappoint me again, but dude, EffOrt's back!
3 Iris - Iris has been on every FPL I've ever had and he's never let me down and he's not gonna let me down this time either.
6 Jangbi - JangBi! This was my last pick, I had 6 points left over and I picked JangBi because, well... he just seemed better than the other options. Hopefully his slump is over, and he continues his OSL dominating form in Proleague.
6 Killer (captain) - Killer's gonna kill everyone in 2012.
6 Leta - Leta will out-cute the opposition and take their ladder points.
1 Reach - Upgrading my fantasy team to a mantasy team.
3 Samsung KHAN - KHAN. Woo, it's a team. I could probably trade JangBi/EffOrt for someone else and pick one of the top four teams, but then I'd not have JangBi or EffOrt on my team, so... KHAN it is!
Anti Team
6 BaBy - BaBy is really not worth 6 points.
6 Snow - And neither is Snow.

I have a good feeling about this year, lets see if this is the season where I get a decent result! I'll do my best to avoid an heavy bias towards CJ players this time around but EffOrt and Horang2 will probably make the team :D

FPL is rather fun, so I decided to give it another go. At first I wanted an all protoss team (with a couple of 1 pointer zergs and terrans), as it is the only manly thing to do. However, it just wasn't practical to have Bisu, Stork, Jangbi/Stats, and Best, without getting completely obliterated. So I just picked Bisu, SKT1, Best, and went with the most cost effective choices I could.

1 Bbyong - The man showed some love for TL on Korean TV, I mean that is enough to get him on the team. But on a real note, he has beat some good players the past season, and I think he has potential. My only worry is that he will get close to no play time since CJ has so many good players and only 5 games per set.
4 BeSt - I am a big BeSt fan, I think he is one of the best PvT players around, and simply love his macro style. Watching him man-handle a terran army just makes me giggle like a giddy school girl. He was going to be on my team one way or another, but since he is only 4 points, I think he is a great pick.
10 Bisu (captain) - 35-5 during standard pro league... Not only is he my favorite player, currently the best protoss player (you could argue, but you know I am right), but he is an absolute monster in pro league. Jaedong and Flash are amazing, but what Bisu did last season was outrageous. Bisu may be costly, but he is worth every penny. I made him my captain because I could never sell Bisu, so there is no point in even having the possibility open. You may call it fanboyism... well your probably right.
2 Brave - I needed a low cost player and from what I have seen from him, he has some potential. He is on a protoss heavy team, which gives me the impression that he is more likely to improve; plus I am a protoss fanboy.
5 EffOrt - The Messiah has returned. Though I love to watch EffOrt play and am a big fan of him in general. I don't think he will be a killing machine this season (but I do think he will do well none the less), especially after being off for an entire year. That being said, I would be simply nuts not to pick him up for only 5 points. I am sure that he will do well enough to improve his value in no time, which could leave him as my darkhorse to give me mad points, or simply a good investment that I could trade in for another great player down the line. EffOrt is the BeSt/Light of this season, he is just too cost-effective to give up.
3 sKyHigh - I have seen this man dismantle Flash multiple times, I know he has the ability to do well. If sKyHigh simply gets into focus andout of his slump, I am sure he can grow into a solid player. At the very least, if he only gets his TvT into gear, CJ will end up sending him out often. If he shows some signs of improvement, I think he will be played more frequently. He is my risky buy, but for 3 points, I think its a worthy risky considering his past history.
5 SK Telecom T1 - I picked what seemed to be a more "cost-effective" team last season, and regretted it greatly. SKT1 may be expensive, but the team is well worth the cost, especially considering their records for the past two years. In particular, since SKT1 is the same price as KT, T8, and CJ, the choice just seemed as a no-brainer to me. Khan would have been my second choice, but their lineup isn't dense enough to provide for consistent results.
Anti Team
5 Calm - I have always thought Calm (or better known as Clam) was awful, and was simply amazed at how people considered him as a pretty good player. As of yet, I haven't regretted by conclusion.
4 Crazy-Hydra - I just don't think he is experienced/good enough to do too much damage. Admitedly there are candidates far worse than him, but for his cost I think he is a fine pick for my anti-team.
4 free - For the past two years free has simply been terrible. I think he will eventually get back on track, but I don't think its going to happen the first season of 2011-2012.

Which team all in do you guys think would be the best? I hedge my bets on CJ because they are stacked, have no real ace, effort is cheap, and so is skyhigh.
I feel like SKT is kind of overpriced and KT won't do so well.
What are your guys' thoughts?

Yeah...after I made that post I quickly made my team for this year and it was really hard to avoid putting more CJ players in. I went for a race mix, 2 of each and a gamble with ACE as my team pick. I have at least one player of every big team to cash in the team points and then I actually ended up picking Bogus for 7pts because he will most likely play every week and will win more than a few games imho.
Then the anti team....I bet against KT basically with CH and Hoejja in there. Then to complete the all zerg anti i chose Calm because I have a feeling that every season that goes by, clam gets more and more air time and Calm less and less.

General Thoughts
- Be wary on picking "Ace" players, without actual Ace Matches they are probably overcosted
- Teams are crowded
- SKT, KT, CJ, and T8 are too close to be worth 5 pts. Also, because the teams are so close, try and diversify across the top teams to ensure I'm always getting team win points.
With that in mind, here's my team
FESTIVE PANTALOONS
Main Team
Captain - Sea - A solid performer, who will get played every game. Little pricey, but I'm pretty sure he'll be worth it.
Fantasy - SKT will do well, so i want a player on it. While Fantasy's streakyness has me a bit worried, i still think he should do well enough. He's probably overcosted, but i like my other pics enough that i can fit him in, and worst case scenario i can trade him down to a lot of promising 7 or 6 pointers who may do well.
Light - Given how well he's been doing since he moved to Woonjin, Light looks like a steal at 6 pts. Very happy with this pic.
EffOrt - A gamble, but one a lot of people are taking. Even on crowded CJ he should see a lot of play, and if her performs even close to his old self he'll be worth his price. Plus, there are several good 4 pointers, so if he ends up sucking i can trade him away.
Wooki - I expect his to get played a good amount, and he's looked quite good for a rookie. Plus, he will earn me KT victory points, which is nice.
Where - With one point left, i choose a player who probably will never get played, but will earn me CJ points even if i have to trade away effort.
ACE - ACE was a steal at 0 pts last season, and my suspicion is they will be this season too. Even if the bo5 format hurts their ability to pick up wins by lining up their vets against rookies and avoiding ace matches, there generally stronger lineup should let them pick up a few wins, making them worth their cost.
Anti-Team
Tyson - Tyson is competing with Jaedong, Killer, Sea, BaBy, and Jaehoon for a place. While he's a decent player, provided none of them go into a severe slump, he shouldn't get played over any of them regularly. An anti team steal at 5 pts.
Action - Similar logic to Tyson. I like Action, i really do, but he just hasn't delivered at KT. and in a Bo5 format, i don't see him being played much. Flash, Stats, and Mind will get played every game, and I expect Wooki to see a decent amount of play as well. KT's zerg line is decent, and with Perfective looking like a promising rookie, HoeJJa seeming resurgent, and Crazy-Hydra at least being a solid ZvZ sniper, i doubt Action will be played much. Again, a great anti team pick at 5 pts.
Hyuk - Hyuk is not going to get played, period. On a team as deep as SKT, and with captain's duties, Hyuk is not going to play a single game this season. Rounds out the anti-team perfectly.
