Agreed, its just going to bring drama here because its just another thread in the BW section which will have 1000000 SC2 kids posting BW should roll over and die already.

I'm not really happy about it. I know SC2 needs a bit of a boost in Korea, but being a fan of both games I would like to keep them separate. SC2 needs to establish it's own history..... Not tack itself on to something that's already established and continuing to evolve.

poor gomtv, I wish they can both coexist T_T
|
Tastosis probably will be working in US or Europe soon. XD. GomTV is doomed.
|
That would be great. SC1 still has a firm hold on the Korean eSport community, but if we could atleast run dual tournaments that is a HUGE step in the right direction.
|
I really, really hope this has no adverse affects on the upcoming sc1 seasons... i know it will, how could it not? but.... oh god why...
;_;

Hey, maybe they'll be hired by OGN and we can get live english BW commentary in addition to SC2 commentary!
|

Wow Big! So i hope teams will have separated Line ups for Sc1-Sc2 instead of mixing or forcing sc1 players to switch.
|
Holy crap that would be amazing. The korean SC2 players NEED this to happen, and the GSL needs competition.
|
Personally i think its more like a safeboat for BW teams, the main ship will stay intact. But no one knows when you can hit the glacier.

Why would they? You don't know kespa and its xenophoby.

this is really exciting. but the prospect of having SKT type of korean team in SC2 with a lot of money and powerful sponsors could be really bad for the foreign scene
|
Interesting... ... don't suppose this spirit of co-existence could rub off on the community, could it?
Didn't think so.
Edit: Does this mean we can have our Team tags back in the SC2 forum? :D
Edit #2: Wonder what IGN thinks about this...

Why would it? With the talk of Proleague going down to 1 game per week for each team, it'd be easy to work SC2 in the broadcast schedule without affecting BW at all.

Very interesting. Could easily be good or bad I guess, depending on a million other factors.

I'm just going to make a few comments before this thread becomes totally unreadable in a few hours time...
This is not something unexpected, given the trend in recent years of Kespa dabbling in every game that might have an audience in Korea.
