Yes, that's true imho. I know one single person offline who likes to play BW and next to none online. Plus, having watched my first game in late 2009 and picked it up only months after that, I still suck badly at competitive 1v1. And that's where non-competitive fun games come into play. Those random race wars are fun no matter your 1v1 skill level and manage to get you hooked. Plus they also train your mechanics and you get to know new people in a "casual" atmosphere. Talk about killing two birds with one stone btw: I think there are more people like us two who have problems finding BW friends on or offline. That's a reason why we should get these n00b-clans working again...

I've been trying to figure out how to stream but my FMLE just seems to be crashing every few seconds. One day soon I'm going to fix it and stream!

This would be so awesome. Make sure that eveyone gets to see it to, start a thread or so. Also, do you remember the summarys of PL games two dudes made a few years back? That was awesome. Someone mildly technical might get on that? I have a project with liquipedia going on right now, so you can sign me up for that if you want or whatever. Im gonna do it anyways

TL BW Attack Just like it was before SC2. Make it featured. Bring Day[9] as the pro and Chill as the caster. I bet we could make 200 more BW players out of it Even if both of them aren't available for the event, bring Sayle as the caster and Kiante as the pro! Or any other recognized BW players, lets just do it

It would be pretty cool if we did like a 5-10 episode series and then for the last episode got a well-known former top foreigner to come play. It would also add more opportunities for new casters to step to the plate and throw down some commentary. For people asking about reviving the noob-clan, here's our website. You can get some info there, I just got done cutting out some of the stuff we hardly used so hopefully it'll make it more straightforward. We've been inactive for awhile. Turns out it's a pretty tricky thing to keep a clan active nowadays (small pool of members and we have lives). I think before this can truly be a successful clan we'd really need to find our identity.

I think there are a few main things that need to happen for this to be successful: -Regular Times we will meet to play -Availability - Don't just go ladder, see if clanmates are on and want to practice first -Hanging out in Channel - having that sense of community is good, if people are always in op sGs talking starcraft it helps create some of that sense of community and not just "playing in a void" If op sGs becomes the place for players new to BW just starting out to go and there are consistently new players in there to play with or more experienced ones to get coached by, then I think we will have achieved our objective.

As always, this TL BW Attack must be publicize well on TL and on reddit and any other websites

The problem we saw with the channel is that it pulled people away from op teamliquid, which I now believe should be completely avoided because it's more of a community separation, instead of addition. Anyhow, I propose we continue this conversation elsewhere so as to not bog down this thread. Perhaps a section on your website to discuss clans/community?

Here's an idea: If you want to attract newer SC2 players to try out BW, try "transitioning" them on the SC2BW mod.
