A short article in Sports Chosun on his "impressive play" and victory in his match versus the "Perfect Terran" Xellos in the MBC Game Team v Team exhibition.
I was wondering when they'd get around to it, but the Korean media have finally come up with a tentative nickname for Nazgul: "Sauron Protoss" (for his Sauron-style mass expos).
Nothing too original or catchy, but a good start nevertheless. He'll probably get a few more as he becomes more known and people are able to condense his style into a proper label. Anyway, a lot better than what ElkY's got: "Desperate Terran." (for his many desperate games where he gets pummeled for 90% of the game, only to claw his way back to win it in the end. Poor Bertrand...)

Very interesting ... By the way, is there another famous nickname to other great player, i know some few for Boxer (Terran Emperor), Chojja, reach and garimto's one but did the other have nick as well ?

When Sauron is hiding, it's either in a forest or "hiding discreetly" in his fortress in Mordor. Or running around in spirit form after getting his ass kicked by someone and feeling sorry for himself.

im pretty sure they called someone sauron zerg. i think it was yellow...

The term "Sauron zerg" comes from a (bulgarian, i think) z player named ~(sauron)~ who was top ladder in the early days of bw. He was way ahead of his time.
Nowadays korea's best know "Sauron zerg" have to be )is(Side (aka Starcraft_SidE). Blackman can also be categorized as one.

he was a korean or american I believe...
He used to write strat guides in english way back, and hung around with mostly american gamers I believe.

Nada: "Genius Terran." "Tornado Terran" (his best-known nick currently)
Yellow: "Storm Zerg" (the "stormy" was a mistake by iszard. Surprise, surprise.)
Boxer: "Terran Emperor" (has been and always will be...)
Reach: "Hero Toss," "Mass Toss," "Mu-Dang Toss."
TheMarine: "Noble Terran" (noble as in nobleman)
There are a few more, but too tired to write now. Will post more as I think of them ... after some sleep...

i';m sure he was a canadian, from alberta i think, his interview was hosted at fuzzybear's site...site went dead a year ago tho..it had like tons of old gosu's interviews.

They used to call Giyom "Ǫ¸¥ ´«ÀÇ Àü»ç" which in Korean means "Blue-eyed Warrior."
Giyom once misheard the caster and thought he was called "̵ȍ" (chun-sa = "angel") instead of "˟ȍ" (jun-sa = "warrior"). Guess he preferred being a Blue-eyed Angel to a Blue-eyed Warrior.

and I don't know if this was an official nickname but KimDongWoo was once referred to as "MutaMania" (boy he had good muta control) and Enough was "HydraMania" (awesome hydra control).
Seems like they are retired though.

KimWanChul and NC...Marine are both doing military service, so won't be around for a while, if ever.
KimDongWoo is still around and should make an appearance in the KPGA Team v Team tourney.
Enough is busy hosting a show on OGN, as well as writing for the OGN site every once in a while.
Not certain about the rest, tho my belief is that Combi and Sindoki are still playing, while Eagle, Niza and Eugene are not. Isn't NC...No1 an alias of someone else...?

Garimto used to be "Farmer Toss" (I'm not sure, but my guess is because of his dark, "farmer's tan" look). [Oops]Lee used to be called "The Living Marine."
But my fav nick these days: "Cowboy Zerg" for Chojja. He got the nick because of the way he hunts down gosu Terran players using a stampede herd of ultralisks. LOL!

Enough is playing sporadically I think- I saw him when Artof guild lost vs Gamei New History- assuming that ArtOfEnough is Enough :O Though the play the same way-_- ArtofEnough was, btw, defeated by DaeZang[GnH] (2000 gamei protoss user). Though that game wasn't the greatest game ever-_-
