I don't know how much we can trust this guy, but it's unofficial and unconfirmed at the moment. Followed by tens of pages of spam and hype because people are going like AMG AMG REALLY SO COOL! while nowhere conclusive, XD=Love aka Dashi is basically the biggest name in BW in China, and XiaoSe from NeoTV also said this I believe. NeoTV and PLU are the two companies responsible for basically all the broadcasting of BW events in China between the two of them, and having their two functional leaders come and announce this news does lend it credibility. If this were some random rumor post I wouldn't have given it a second thought, but the fact that these are the people who are saying it... As an aside, the Ro36 opening had Effort standing on top of the Oriental Pearl tower in Shanghai lol. In -other- unrelated (but perhaps actually related?) news, XiaoSe from NeoTV also said that after the OSL finals, OGN will announce a partnership with PLU/NeoTV to host a regular league that pits top Korean Courage finishers against Chinese players. That news kinda fizzled out and got overwhelmed by the OMG WTF SHANGHAI OSL news though, so I don't have much more on that. XD=Love and Xiaose are both noobs

Their abilities aside, XD=Love is the most well known (and generally most well liked) commentator, and XiaoSe runs NeoTV. It's a matter of reputation here, since words that come out of their mouth are essentially equivalent to official position of NeoTV/PLU.
XD=Love also coaches China's national BW team.

That's so sick. Hopefully this becomes a reality, because after WCG 2009, any esports in China would be insane. Hopefully they give the koreans discounts on their flight as well, though.

Here's a much more reliable source: http://www.wfbrood.com/xingji/hanguoxingji/xingji_53714.html
During the OSL broadcast on NeoTV, it has been confirmed that this season's OSL final will be co-hosted by OGN and NeoTV, on Sept. 11, in Shanghai, at the Oriental Pearl. During this time, OGN and NeoTV will also organize a celebratory event for the 10th WCG. Thank you NeoTV blah blah blah [unimportant stuff].

That's just a repost; Wfbrood basically is a compendium of information from other sites, it's no more or less reliable than its sources :3

i've been watching the chinese streams and all of this is just chatter, nothing official or endorsed, basically, the only thing these rumors has going for them is that the first OSL intro had effort half naked with wings standing on the oriental pearl.....then again the first korean air osl had flash standing in an airplane hanger.
But the logistics of having a korean sc final in china... especially at the oriental pearl doesnt seem very probable. What is more likely is maybe holding it at the world's expo in shanghai, the amount of people that go there is like 400,000 per day, and it has it's own stadium. This could be good for spreading esports, and if you want something to be big, you get chinese people to follow it, but then again, how is korean air planning on getting all the koreans over?

Hopefully there will be Chinese commentators with level of enthusiasm that is equal to Korean commentators.
