Hiya's mass repair of the single bunker defending his 3rd vs Free while putting down a nuke Fantasy's valks raping 12+ scourge and a control group of mutas in 10 seconds total? the mine that produced ggaemo's fish face @ ending of the other really long ZvZ a week after JD vs Yellow that featured ultra vs ultra?
The lockdown was probably the only particular "pimp" moment from that game. It's such a shame that Hiya lost in the end =/
I just rewatched that moment... it gave me such nerd chills.
Another pimp moment, although much less obvious, is when Free mindcontrolled a neutral arbiter and used it to do a very effective recall. Free in his winner interview even associated his victory with that arbiter. I do believe the aforementioned neutral arbiter is the one at 12 o'clock.
And yeah, I really wish that Hiya won that game. Despite losing it, it really separated Hiya from the crowd of mediocre Terrans. Free deserved his victory though, except the part where he lost 0-3 to Flash right after. Maybe Hiya would have put up a better fight...He did defeat Flash in a recent ace match.

Really's optical flare vP on Match Point.
I don't think Jaedong v.s. Kal was pimp in any sort of way...Kal made the incorrect decision, chose to be passive instead of using his army advantage. Once Jaedong got to hive tech and saturated his 3 o'clock unchallenged, it was over.
In comparison, Fantasy v.s. Skyhigh was much more interesting. Fantasy didn't even make any silly mistakes. He even had that pimp moment with sniping 8 tanks in one barrage across the wall.
I am not convinced whether Really's vP optical flare is effective or not...because it forces the Terran to waste scan for a single observer. A blind observer can still scout.
I don't think the optical flare was really that impressive. Sure, no one did it except that really pimp BoxeR play, but that's for a reason. All Really did was piss off Jangbi and force him to waste an economy-crippling 20 minerals and 70gas on something that takes like 10 seconds to build. I also definitely think an Action play should be on there; remember when he threw down like 4 swarms? vs Flash?
oh and also movie vs m18m, where Movie feedbacks HTs to win him the game. Free's scouts Free storming himself and making mass archons in this other game
Free's scouts deserve a mention. He utilized that unit against Fantasy recent and also used it in the WL playoff. Was it against Hyun or Jaehoon? I don't remember. It is his method of getting instant gg. Bisu's scout use against Hwasin was considered a pimp play, no?
One of the more memorable games recently was Best v.s. Movie. Infinite zealot reinforcement...I'd crap my pants if I was in Movie's position and had map hack.
So many good games, but it's pimpest plays. And a lot of games mentioned are just high level, but to be a pimpest play it should demonstrate ingenuity that works with a bang.
How about the two PvPs on HBR where they base race and one player ends up winning by building a Nexus in his opponents main? Pure vs Pusan was the most recent but there was another one before that though I'm not sure if it was in 2010.
Jaedong v.s. Canata, in which Jaedong pulled drones to defend against a bunker rush. But the drones didn't stop at that. The drones traveled all the way to Canata's natural and slaughtered almost all of Canata's marine force before pulling back.
The offensive Nydus by Effort wasn't just an embarrassment move, it was actually very well thought out. Effort's morphing building was kept under his cloud of Mutalisks, so Hyuk didn't see it until too late. He also then used Zerglings to snipe tech buildings with the Nydus, sealing his victory.
