... Light is a really good player and massively underrated. But yeah, game 3, Kwanro won with a pretty cheesy build that probably didn't require that much practice anyway.

I hope more people join my fan cafe, and hope to give me more words of encouragement (laugh).
Is there any way for foreigners to join a fan cafe?

Damn. I really hate Flash but it's undeniable that he has the closest to a champion's mindset out of any players right now. The interview shows it because with him it's just not a "I want to win" as much as "I just want to get better, winning will be a result not a desire." I dislike his play but I think he'll likely take both titles this season.

no hes overrated by people who thinks hes underrated. hes pretty bad. like bad. so bad.

Wow.
I used to dislike Kwanro and like Flash but that's been changing lately.
A zerg cheesing a terran is awesome because when it comes to cheese in TvZ, the terran is soooooo dominant.
Flash ... I guess I'm disliking him because he's too good. It's not even exciting when he pulls off an unbeatable build (depending on the build of the opponent of course) against Jaedong or when he makes us watch 50 minutes of sieged tanks (man those tank drivers were bored) because he knows it'll win him the game. I don't blame him for it but I'll be rooting for the players who entertain me

Playing against Flash's TvZ is the same as playing against Best's PvZ. I knew it!

Woongjin would love to get Light I'm sure.

Hmmm I predict the semis to go the same way as Flash vs Calm. Aggressive muta attack against Flash's mass turret D

Thanks for the translation Kona! But the real question in my mind is "Does Flash know how to kill zerglings?" If so, win.

"I think ZvT and ZvP is the same." kekekekeke

I don't get the deal with Kwanro's eyes... Is his left eye always looking down or something?
btw thanks for the translations!

If Flash isn't bullshitting in his interviews, than I think I know he going to win both individual titles this season.
|
I'm very excited for the Flash vs Kwanro match, I am sure every single one of their peers will be watching very closely too, both players are so unique in their own ways and I doubt it will be a conventional TvZ match series.

Flash Fanboys make it very annoying because seriously they act like he's a God or something.

I think that always happens with the current most dominant player, like last season with Jaedong, but annoying fanboys are no reason the hate the player themselves.

Take a look at the way Flash fans evaluated him in 2009. Objectively speaking, there is no question that Flash fans are much, much, MUCH harsher on him than Jaedong fans are on their favorite, or Bisu fans, or Stork fans.
Look at the PR where Flash was left off. Look at all the Flash fans who said "I agree Flash deserves to be off, because even we expect more of him".
Look at the disappointment in the threads where Flash gets knocked out of another league. Where fans blame him for not playing better (because we all know he is capable) instead of blaming his opponent. How often does this happen with the other elite players? There is no player held to a higher standard than Flash.
Conversely, those of us who have believed in his genius for the last two years are finally being rewarded. It's not so much "oh Flash is dominant now yay", but rather more like "back when he was no longer dominating, we knew he could, and we believed it would happen one day - our faith has been rewarded".
It's a totally different situation from anything in progaming history. And a totally different fanbase (at least the ones who have been behind him since early 2008 or even before that).
