So today I saw this thread on Iccup. http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/forum/general_forum/starcraft_forum_/69556.html?1242619552 I decided why not and ask them for some friendly games. If they were worse than me (D/D+ extrapolated, http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/gamingprofile/zavihs.html ) I can give them some tips, or they might be good players that are just new to ICCUP (which will be helpful for me). Anyways I messaged him and seems like a nice group of players. I decided to observe them play one game first and see where their skills are at. If you don't have anything else to do watch the replay at 8x (long game) for a good laugh.
For anyone that does not feel like watching, I just want your opinion if this was two guys who decided to spend 1 hour to troll me or it was two guys who haven't played SC in so long the last time they played was on the nintendo 64 with cheats on. I am not posting this to laugh at the players, I honestly did not know if I got trolled or not because the guys seems so genuine and innocent.
For anyone with the time you really should watch the replay for a laugh (mostly the chat) because the game involves them knowing "the basics" as they said themselves which apparently includes
Sending firebats against cannons
Maelstrom on tanks
Bunkers are suppose to detect DTs

I think they were just new players. I've seen similar play from people just starting out/people who have only played single player. Either that or they're REALLY dedicated trolls, and from watching the rep I don't think they are.

I had a few good lulz in the first few minutes. To any prospective watchers; the first 5 minutes is absolute comedy gold, but at that point, it's best to speed it up to at least x8 or exit the rep.

Trolling is only successful if they spend less time on it typing than you spend reading+responding, so even if it was a troll it would be stupid. They would both be spending their time to troll just one person. No good troll would waste their busy busy schedule on that.

Exactly my thought lol...but I definitely enjoyed it and if they were trolling they might have too. I mean trolling doesn't have to end with one side raging right?
edit: Yeah they are both spending time trolling me which is a waste of effort, but I don't understand how can they not be trolling with some of these comments like
"we are new, we played sc on n64"

Most likely they queued the CC/Nexus to a mineral patch hoping that they would auto-mine. Not today! Not until Starcraft II.

Maybe they're just really corny and newbie like that. I don't think anyone would pretend to play bad just to make fun of one guy, they would at the very least open an OBS game for that to get more people in.
