)Second, this mystery has been solved. I chatted with the fellow again, he keeps on insisting he use to play SC on the Nintendo 64. I decided why not just look it up on gamefaqs it can't hurt anybody, guess what the game fucking exists. Why have I never heard of this shit. Unfortunately it really is a group of newbie SC players and not some epic troll cult that dedicated their time on me  edit: I just can't get over how bad they are though. Today I asked them if they wanted me to show them some basic builds for their race, but they told me they know the basics. How can you know the basics if you can't fucking keep track of idle scvs 1 minute into the game. | ||

Anyway, as the KeSPA-confirmed worst StarCraft player in history, I am best qualified to pass judgement on these two. After watching the replay, I think they are most likely genuine beginners. If they were really good players with the intent to troll you, they would have likely made even more bizarre choices then they did. Plus, since it is difficult to play slowly once you are really good, their "timings" would probably have been better then they were. However, if you can convince him that his grasp on "basics" is not as good as he believes, I think the Protoss player has potential. The majority of new players have the problem of not being able to spend their money well (my personal record is ten thousand minerals in the bank ). The Protoss player in this game, however, actually did a suprisingly good job (for a beginner ) at spending money for most of the game (although even he eventually allowed his minerals to rise to 2k; plus, this does throw suspicion that he might actually be a troll). So if he can learn to spend money on things that actually matter, then who knows...maybe he can even become a decent player. | ||
