Anyone know of an open source program like Mathematica? I know this probably isn't likely at all given how difficult it is to make such a project, but I need to evaluate a ridiculous formula with three different parameters and it just gets jumbled in my ti-83 and I've given up trying. Thanks in advance for the consideration.  | ||

Personally I'd do it in Matlab :3 edit: how can your ti-83 evaluate anything difficult? I'd think you'd need an 89 for that... | ||

http://www.sagenb.org/ That's probably the easiest way to use it if you're only going to do one or two calc's. Otherwise, life is pretty hard really. I think they want you to install a VM, and then access it through firefox. Install instructions (if you haven't found them yet) are here: http://www.sagemath.org/bin/microsoft_windows/README.txt | ||
