+ Show Spoiler + I woulda given it 2 or 3. So disappointing. Worse than X-men 3. Cute drawing style.

In the proper canon, Victor is Stryker's son, not Logan's brother. And Silver Fox is not Logan's lover. That's just geekery though. Aside from Logan's, the film had very little character development. There's no reason to care for the characters - a problem similar to X-men 3. Even with Logan, it's hard to feel for him because he's practically immortal and feels no pain. Many of the character's motivations didn't make a lot of sense. Logan wants to kill Victor because Victor killed his lover. Oh wait, she's not really dead - what are you gonna do now, Logan? Eh, kill him anyway, because he's a dick - even though I quit Team X because I don't like killing people. Then there's the miscellaneous annoying stuff. How come Logan is born in Canada, but fights in the US civil war and works for the US government? How on earth does Logan drive a chopper through a dense wood - a task that'd be hard to pull off with a dirtbike? Why does an adamantium bullet, shot to the brain, cause Logan to lose his memory, and not any other cognitive functions? (In fact, not just any memories - he still keeps his procedural memories of how to walk and fight, he retains linguistic memory of how to talk, and he retains his common sense knowledge about the world - only his episodic memory is lost. That's not how brain damage works, especially when you're shot square in the forehead.) Also, the part where Logan finds Silver Fox "dead", and falls to his knees and shouts "noooooooooooooooooo" up at the sky was ridiculously cheesy and cliché. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to like the film, I came to it with high expectations, but I just couldn't enjoy it.
