one svu plot: these parents had twin boys, there was a "FREAK CIRCUMCISION ACCIDENT" and they decide just to completely remove his genitals (following the "it's easier to dig a hole than build a pole" philosophy, yes that is a direct quote from the episode) and get him a sex change. they then never tell the kid and he think's he's a girl for his entire life, until they are involved in some sort of crime and the police tell him. the parents made him take estrogen as well. the twins also went to see a therapist who made them have sex. yeah. i bet that bolded part caught your attention. | ||

I'll never be able to get into SVU (or similar Law and Order derivatives). I guess I'm just a purist, and I love Sam Waterston. Also, as previous posters have mentioned, SVU tends to just go really over the top with ridiculously perverse and violent murders and I feel this detracts from the show. It's weaker on plot than regular L&O. | ||
