!
i hear a scratching noise in the wall between our room and the next one, I hope it's not a mouse.
Any ideas on how to get rid of the mouse? One of my housemates is threatening to kill me if I kill the mouse, and I'm scared of both her and the mouse. So I guess I should say, any non-lethal ideas?

Would have been awesome if all the OP said was " ! "
Hmm...my first thought was cat when I looked at the title, but I guess that isn't too non lethal. Also housecats these days are pretty damn lazy. Only 1 out of 3 of my cats would actually chase a mouse I think. For now I'm drawing a blank.
Edit: Should center it imo. Actually nvm, looks fine the way it is.
Caller seeing the mouse....
Couldn't resist using those awesome gifs.

Kill you for killing a mouse something is obviously wrong with that. Like protesting against violence, violently.
You can buy rat motels basically a rat trap that's a box that drops a door when the mouse gets in. you could also try leaving the door open and putting a trail of cheese out the door and hope for the best. Although if he got in i doubt he used the front door to begin with.
Rat traps are the only non lethal way. I wouldn't try to catch one by hand rats teeth and jaw are very efficient and powerful they will bite to the bone.

The Walgreen's on 55th and Lake Park should stock mousetraps (the sticky kind, not the icky kind with springs and a decapitator).

Noooooooooooooooooooo don't boil itttttt. just trap it and let it free. Do not kill the mouse!!!

my dad used rat traps too and they really do work. just put some food in it and give it a couple days, eventually it'll come out when it's hungry. I didn't actually see them myself but apparently he caught like 3 big ones. totally disgusting.

you can just hope its a mouse if you haven't seen it yet ^^, if its a rat then thats much more nasty. Yeah traps that just box him in are probably the best idea, then just let him loose on some other poor fellow, or the roommate
