So I looked through all available themes for firefox on the official page, but all of them sucked except the one I'm using now (called "rein"). Still looking for something better though, in case anyone has suggestions.
Also I found the firefox mainmenu toolbar annoying and not very space efficient so I hid it with some addon (can bring it up with alt key) and put the bookmark folder on the bookmark toolbar for easy access (drop down menu).
As for the customized homepage.. well it's not really great, mainly because it's windows live. Should have gone for iGoogle but somehow I thought I'd give windows live a try. The main reason was that my main email account where all the others get forwared to is @live.com, so I can't really use iGoogle unfortunately.
For addons I just use adblock, download statusbar, mouse gestures and that mainmenu hide thingy.
I'm interested in how others customized their stuff, because I'm not really satisfied with the way I did it, yet.

I use the persona plugin.
It automatically updates new themes blah blah. pretty good when you are lazy like me

The problem is that themes and stuff slows my reaction with the desktop. Even the best theme will get tiresome.

I was a big firefox fan, converting my friends a couple of years ago and stuff like that, but Chrome > Firefox for me now.

where do you get persona plugin and what is the transmission thing you using?

persona is a theme plugin for firefox. you can find it on google.
transmission is a bt client on linux.
