For example, everytime i build my game, I have a character that will run either right or left. I had a seed of "1", and everytime i ran my game, it ran to the left. When the seed is changed to the date/time/milisec, then thats random.. so in other words, the replay somehow stores the seed. Back to topic, this sounds like an interesting contest.. though i would have to think about something clever before i play the pc .... hmm.... doesnt the computer just run an algorithm and arent random choices usually based on (game)time, which would be the same when running a replay It really depends on how its programmed. The random seed could be the time running the replay, as well as it could be the date of the replay or a simple flag stored on the replay. It does run an algorithm which basically acts the same way based on this random seed | ||
