Now basically i consider myself a casual player, with the odd game on iccup, i win some, i lose some. I have been fortunate to encounter (relatively) few bad mannered people so in general the iccup experience has been pretty decent.

Basically when I get bm'ed, I think its mildly funny, I dont get worked up at all, for example:

BM Guy: Fuck you fucking noob
Me: yea u lost to one
BM Guy: Fuck your mum etc etc I just want to kill someone right now
Me: Its just a game take a chill pill

How about you guys? Do you get pissed off if someone bm's you?

After playing on east for a year you get desensitized to bm stuff pretty easily.

I ignore it and laugh about it, then I rejoin their next game they usually make to get instantly banned and laugh even more. People on the internet never fail to make me laugh. Who gets mad at the person beating him instead of himself haha that's so stupid.

I find it funny. The fact that they believe they are going to hurt you with typed words, over the internet, because of a game. I've also learned to not really get worked up about anything that people say to you. It doesn't really bother me anymore.

The best experience (Stupid as hell, we didn't even make it into the game) was I joined a play/obs on b.net. The 2nd player slot was full so I sat in the obs, figured I'd take a bit of a break, then just grab the next game. I said "hey" and waited with the other obs. Then the other player goes "sorry slow dl :/" watching the 2nd player dl, I respond "yeah no worries, lol.". Suddenly the host goes "WHAT'S FUNNY". Long pause. "WTF IS FUNNY?" (For those wondering, I was laughing that he was apologizing for something he had no control over) I said "Sorry, I didn't know using 'lol' was against the rules. -.-" he goes "NO FACES" and I just went "Okay, calm down bro.", and he goes "FUCK YOU BEING SMART WITH ME" "YOU WANT TO GET BANNED??" so at this point I just didn't give a crap between the slow DL and the bullshit he was dishing out which I was finding very amusing. I said to him "Why not", he asks me again, I say "Okay." so he proceeded to ban me from the game. It was some real bullshit though.
Oh no, where will I ever find another 1vs1 game to join. I generally prefer ICCUP because of crap like that on battle.net.

It makes me happy sometimes cause when they BM its usually cause they lost, therefore when I get BM'ed I take it as a compliment

When someone BMs me after a satisfying victory, I always try to spam smilies (^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ in particular) until they leave.

Yeah I know what you mean, last night I beat two guys both claiming to be "the best on east" (water-x17 and some other faggot) and they BOTH accused me of hacking and banned me from all future games, both some really sore losers

To be honest i find the most BM people in the universe to be mid level DOTA players talking to players they consider worse, its pretty bad - makes me wonder who would want to play dota ~,,~
