Then this blog will be long, I bid you good luck and will look for any updates on this particular matter.

However, a lot of time can be cut out of the equation if you've got a willing friend who is good enough to simply watch your replay and tell you what you should have done.

Even if you use shortcut techniques like some people suggest on TL, like the playing-at-300APM-vs-computers technique, it still takes lots of practice. So just play a ton. Decision making will generally be a matter of watching replays with situations that happened to you, often with vision on only one player, and seeing what they do based on what they see. However, a lot of time can be cut out of the equation if you've got a willing friend who is good enough to simply watch your replay and tell you what you should have done. For sure, but it seems like since I am at a low level, I lose in the same basic ways. I would go into it now, but I want to save it for the next entry ^^

http://www.youtube.com/user/coky18 I'm a C terran, and I target my advice and junk towards D, D+ and C- players, wanting to get higher ranks. Hopefully there atleast of some use. I also run a clan of people who chill on vent, watch replays, and ladder a lot. So if you ever need help or have any questions, don't be shy. I'm Nintu on iccup, or you can PM me here or on my youtube account. Goodluck! =D

Before I started playing 1v1 exclusively (well, almost; I still play 2v2 sometimes) I found that playing 2v2 only confused me as the gameplay and strategies are completely different. But it might have had something to do with the fact that I could not play my main race (T) in 2v2 so I would go random.

pick a replay with a solid build and study it inside and out. practice that build over and over against, against a computer if you want, so you dont miss depots, you dont miss factories honestly, I spent 3 or 4 days just going over one build over and over again, making sure I could do it without a hitch pretty much every time, that I could adapt it fairly well, and it was probably the single greatest jump in my starcraft abilities. I would reccomend replays involving koreans though

for ZvP when they fast expo just go 3 hat hydralisk push. You'll learn to feel when templars and leg speed are comming. How scouting effectives the effectiveness of the strategy. How to micro hydralisks and how to build on hotkeys while attacking 5sh6sh7sh. ZvT 12hat/11pool/10gas speed first 10 lings try and rush. If that doesn't do damage and you can't win with 2 hat speedlings make your lair and put a den down halfway threw for lurker/ling. Learning to micro this in small battles against MnM will increase your understanding of the ZvT/TvZ struggle and once again burrow microling lurkers and zerglings together while spamming 5sz6sz7sh. This build will teach you went terran will get Seige tanks when their +1 attack upgrade is complete, and when the earliest vessels can come out. ZvZ mass lings every game. Good zergling control is what makes a zerg player good, before mutas you need effective zergling control in all matchups. So learn how to do that! Good luck, I will also continue checking your blog for updates. You can do it padawon! Z
