And despite what fans think horror is, doesn't try to bathe you in gore and blood. The camerawork is excellent. Well I didn't hype it that much, but I had to somehow persuade them into sitting down to watch a 1961 movie. I have seen the light now though  | ||

But I think some of the really old horror movies are famous only because there wasn't much competition yet. Not long ago I saw "Village of the Damned" (1960) which was called a real classic, creepy and much better than the remake etc... but it's just crap these days. Hope this one isn't. | ||
