are you talking about that Netbattle thing? i've never played it, but id be willing to get into it (i saw on the site that its mostly dead) and play with you, or on another server thingo, if you can tolerate a nooby

I used to play a bit of it competitive. But that was just in RBY when special was so fucking kickass and Alakazam could 1-hit psychic 90% of the pokemon (EXCEPT FUCKING CHANSEY TANK FUCK YOU). I fucking hated Chansey so much. T_T
You're going to destroy my summer with pokemon ;;

There is also a firered 386. I think I'd perfer playing that one over emerald 386.
edit. Seems it has a bug and you can't save near the end before you fight elite 4 and it crashes so I guess emerald for me.
edit2. Not to spoil so much but the level of the first pokemon that the elite 4 sends in pokemon emerald 386 is level 78 lol
edit3. I love the emulator so that training my pokemon is not so tiring. Just walk back and forth [and press space bar so its running @ 500%] and all the wild fights go by so fast. It still takes alot of time even doing that since the level of the trainers are so high in this 386 rom.

I remember when berries were 50% and bellyzard (Charizard + bellydrum) would own everything. God damn that was gay.

evan, How do you make those battle reports and put all those screenshots together. I know how to take the screen shots but not how to put them all into one pic.

I love how so many people on TL is starting to play again because of these blogs ^^
I'm about 1/3 of the way through Diamond on an emulator. It's way too easy. Maybe I'll get the hacked emerald too, lol. I've got more than a month of time to kill.

you play it on a gameboy emulator imthemaster, you can find one in his other pokemon thread.
if you turned up the frame rate and made it run at like 300% speed you probably could

I'd recommend you not to do that, seeing how it will ruin your EVs. I regret doing that also when I started with Diamond, now I don't want to restart the game, although I can reverse my errors, it'll take a while, and I have more important things to do (like breeding IV Dratinis).

I'm barely getting my team ready by IV breeding, I'm barely on my first Pokemon, a Dragonite, I still haven't gotten its IVs where I want them, its gonna take a while. I don't even have its movesets, man!!! lol, I'm getting there.

In all honesty, I don't really care about EVs and IVs :p I've always been able to beat the games using my "kill-'em-all" strategy", so I don't care if my Gardevoir has a through-the-roof Attack or my Slaking's Special Defense is insane.
