Yesterday I tried out about how secure ICCUP is. I did it with an World Cyber Games admin, because all German qualifier games are going to take place on iccup with AH on. We tried the latest oblivion version which seems to work until you get disced after like 2 minutes in the game. The opponent gets an alarm that he may leave now and report the game.

We also tried another version with a hacked launcher, which miserably fails, because it crashes the game if you try to hack. For closing the iccup launcher while you play you also get disconnect. Until that it still says you are on AH, though.

I'm pretty sure German WCG will not have any possiblity of hack, unless there is some pretty skilled programmer who develops his own hack which works on iccup, which will be very hard because the ICCUP launcher checks the RAM. ;O!

I'm really glad that the test ran so well and we can play with the knowledge that hacking is impossible, at least for the average "user".

Did you also try Oblivion with safe mode on? (In which some features which are easily detectable are disabled, but maphack and stathack for example still works)

Yes, I also tried oblivion in safe mode, and there's no way to detect it via BWChart or other programs, but you get disconnected by the AH Launcher of Iccup. I basically tried to switch off all functions but the maphack (lite) and still got disconnected.
