So I listen to alot of electronica. I do enjoy trance/bigbeat/breakbeat stuff. However, I generally tend to swing in the downtempo/chillout/idm direction, especially when it comes to purchasing albums. Therefore, if you enjoy slower electronica of any kind, BUY THESE ALBUMS:
NUMBER 6 Symbion Project - Immortal Game
Symbion Project has some insanely awesome downtempo beats on Immortal Game. Moreover, the sound is extremely diverse across the entire album. Very sexy if you're looking for a great album w/o redundancy of texture.
NUMBER 5 Apparat - Walls
Apparat is SOOO GOOD. This album contains everything from trip-hop beats, to experimental indie, to straight up rhythmic IDM. A great buy for someone who's looking to tap into more electronica.
NUMBER 4 Loess - Wind and Water
Wind and Water is a sick ambient album that I could listen to for days. It's perfect for studying, working, or idly focusing on some task. The subtle noise effects and evocative instrumentals make Wind and Water a must have!
NUMBER 3 Chris Clark - Empty the Bones of You
Hooray IDM. Chris Clark has been one of my favorite artists for as long as I can remember. I especially enjoy this album (it was my first!) due its heavy bass, extensive use of dissonance, and a really dark, hard gritty sound.
NUMBER 2 Secret Frequency Crew - The Forest of Echo Downs
The Forest of Echo Downs is my #1 recommendation for someone who doesn't listen to much electronica. It has a nice range of smooth beats, with a surprisingly large use of brass instruments in their songs (atypical of most electronica). Some pieces are more slow and contemplative, while others are fast-paced energy beatdown music.
MY NUMBER 1 FAVORITE ALBUM Trentemoller - The Last Resort
Trentemoller is the most genius musician of all time. He spends an extraordinary amount of time sculpting each individual sound in his pieces, resulting in the deepest, most unique sound i've ever heard. Every single one of his songs is littered with subtle noise effects, a healthy deep bass, sexy high end pitches, all tied together with interesting melodic structures. I love EVERY song on this 13 song album, a true rarity in music nowadays. Absolutely anyone who has EARS needs to purchase this album immediately. Trentemoller Fightiiiinng~~!!!

I see you're a bit of an IDM fan which is cool.
Agree with most of your list but i still haven't heard Symbion Project - Immortal Game, will look it up.

dissapointed not seeing daft in there

So is it all Electronica, or can I expect to hear influences from other genres?
I'm trying to broaden my horizons a bit more, so don't think i'm being elitist or something <_<

Electronica is the EXTREMELY broad term for anything generated w/ electronic/synthesized sound. So, electronica contains trance, techno, big beat, breakbeat, chillout, downtempo, idm, drum n' bass, house etc etc etc
