So, even with the "carpel tunnel syndrome" I diagnosed myself with, I kept playing this god-forsaken game. The result? Well, I took it easy and my right hand's fine now. And...I also went back into iccup -_-
Currently, I am still extremely unsatisfied with myself. I still struggle in the B- range, fluctuating a lot between C+/B-. I feel like I'm making some trivial error which should be easily fixed, yet I can't put my finger on it. I know my micro is not the problem, and my build orders seem fairly solid. I'm also fairly confident in my macro, in that I am fairly adept at balancing unit production facilities, expos, and probe numbers.
Still, I'm doing something terribly wrong. I'm losing games not like a B- player, but more like an amateur. I think the main reasons are that I tend to re-use and recycle my build orders, so I'm used to responding in a limited way to similar situations, which obviously is a problem against multiple players with different styles. I also tend to avoid late game like the plague. Instead of trying to grab expos and play passively, I usually opt for the "hasty" builds. Mass gaming is helping me realize this though. Speaking of mass gaming...
I began Iccup on January 9th or something January 21st. So in a little over a month, I played 265 games. And I work all day except sundays. Funny how I couldn't even play a quarter of that amount when I played sc all day and never worked -_-

I know how you feel, like missing that X factor to a game or even to a series of games. It's harsh, but keep your chin up [: A little more practice, probably some replay review, and you will get over it I'm sure.
Good luck!

I had a similar problem, the one where you play hasty instead of settling in for the long game. Once I realized this and curbed it (it took a lot of willpower), I began to do a shitload better. Now instead of doing rush and all-ins all the time, I settle in for a macro game and I find that my macro and overall ability to be significantly superior to the opponents that I would lose to over and over doing some dumb fast attack build that would fail.
One problem I encountered on ICCUP is that each map requires somewhat different strategy, especially in TvT for me. So I usually start the week out losing on the new MOTWs while I adapt to it, and then by the end of the week (if I've been playing that week) I learn the MOTWs pretty well and start winning more. Then the MOTW changes. So it's not very good for my score but overall I know it's helping me improve a lot.

I know exactly what you mean about playing hastily, This is the reason why I never got to much into 1:1 on iccup, Alot of times I find myself playing agaisnt some one who I know is worse but since im impatient and I just want to get a quick win so I can move on, I find myself makeing stupid mistakes
