Man your blogs frequently hit the spot, good stuff!
I’ve oft-wondered about snowball mechanics, and I mean they’re basically in almost any game I can think of. And pondered ways to reduce it in various games, but perhaps I’m on the wrong track.
I suppose for the advantaged side you get that satisfaction of well, doing the right things compounds in expected advantages delivering expected results.
And from the disadvantaged side of the equation pulling off a comeback from a deficit is damn sweet. Most of my favourite SC2 games I ever played and can still vaguely remember were comebacks from huge deficits, some I didn’t even win but I probably played my absolute best in even coming close to clawing back from a rough spot.

Thanks a bunch for the kind words! <3 Makes me happy to see you guys enjoying the episodes.
Winning while behind is super satisfying, I agree. I guess there is something about it. It's basically the typical underdog story and people enjoy/love to watch it.
