My scores today: 155, 205, 237.
Game 1: I was having trouble with my strike ball and even missed a few easy spares (including the 10 pin). The sad thing is I was only 4 pins below my season average :p
Game 2: This was a no-open game but without any large chains of strikes while I was still finding a proper first ball. I didn't miss the 10 pin this time!
Game 3: This game, also a no-open game, did not feature anything bigger than a turkey (there were two of them). I got lucky a couple of times with jersey's IIRC (ball hits wrong side of pin formation yet gets a strike) but otherwise bowled a very nice game. 237 beats my career high by 1 pin! At this rate my high might go up still in future weeks.
Conclusion: I'm pretty happy with this, but disappointed I missed the 600 series by 3 pins. I don't yet feel confident I can pull this out every week, but on the bright side my team won all of our points again. However, we aren't in first any more... but after this week hopefully we'll be in first or second.
