EPTI found out about BW around 2008 and watched it ever since. But I always had and have trouble without a good caster. I know the basics, but especially timings, build order indicators etc I just can't get right, because I don't take those information in while just watching a game. So I decided to give this thing a go and learn how to play (even if its just on a very, very basic level), not really to be a good player but to enjoy watching BW even more and to understand it better.
I played my first game today against the computer. Turns out if you see how Flash plays and does his magic that doesn't mean that you can do the same. Well, I knew that before, but still. I thought it might be funny to see a guy that watched a lot but never played play his first ever match of RTS, so here is the replay. Took me some time to get a feeling for anything at all at the beginning/adjusting mouse speed.
My next goal is to practice a build order for every matchup a bit and then go on to lose my first 100 games against some players. We will see how that goes.
