Sometimes the gaming life is rough
Today I had passion to ladder some Starcraft again. Play 2 games, get adepted to death twice, placement matches are not even counted, post match screen doesn't work -> passion lost
To still my hunger for RTS I reinstall Warcraft 3. Get rushed by a Tinker placing robot factories and towers in my base before I have more than 1 footman because I have no idea how to play WC3 anymore. Ragequit Warcraft 3
Fine, some Dota then. Oh yeah I forgot, they oblige you to give them your phone number to play ranked. Fuck them.
Alrighty, at least there's Heroes 2.0. Start a game, get flamed super hard for having low hero damage, even though I have double their experience earned because I was soaking and pushing two lanes all alone instead of joining their fight-for-no-objective-other-than-herodamage brawls. We win the game, end the game with most kills most experience gained but still get flamed. Teamgames hype -_-
Go to the last resort, cardstone. Get a perfect draw for my quest Rogue and demolish the opponent with him having 0 opportunities to stop me. Realize what poor design these quests are and quit hearthstone. Well try to quit hearthstone because the fucking game hangs every time you press the exit button and you have to taskmanager kill it.
Now I broke my stride of eating healthy and ate way too much chocolate. Meh

lol this is too funny. The only game that even captures my interest these days is BW and thankfully, it's a difficult game to master so I won't ever really get bored with it ^^

This is why I turned to writing instead of playing video games.

Well, luckily for me I found a way around the frustrations of 1v1 in lotv... I play WoL intead. It works so I'm fine with it. Everyone has gaming issues man but we still keep playing anyway.

Sounds like my life and experience with competitive multiplayer games.

playing 2v2s i often end up playing in a game with a pretty big jerk who is in 1v1 Masters ( i'm in Diamond ). the guy constantly orders his team mate around ( sometimes i'm his team mate ) and when he loses he then rants about what a total nOOb his team mate is.
i got partnered with someone else and the Masters jerk was on the opposition team. it was a 50 minute all time classic with our team winning via an amazing comeback. the jerk spent the last 5 minutes of the game complaining about his ally screwing up the game. LOL
damn i love Starcraft
P.S. any one wanna see my new wheels? its fast... looks super cool ... but the insurance is murder.

Same here, but I'm try hard and even if I hate myself today very much because I lost more than the day before I keep on playing that damn BW to get better, it was the same pressure with wc3 before and sc2. Setting goals high (not very high, because that would mean to go pro and I'm 30+ now, so, just no). Bought sc2 in 2011, played very much, watched many streams, analysed many replays and just for my inner pleasure to achieve the rank of a master/ gm within a short period, to pleasure myself.... Fmms (= fuck my mind setting) I remember, took vacation to train for sc2 and lost more games than ever before, I cried later that days, achieved master the next week. lul.

in the particular game his ally played "ok". i've been in games with this guy as his ally and enemy about 20 times and he blames his ally after every loss even when his ally is clearly the better player.

BROOD
WAR'
EDIT: I'll tell you about yesterday since I haven't been able to get out of bed today.
Take a final at noon. Get home at 2. Begin streaming Pokemon Puzzle League Super-Hard for the N64, a game I have had a decent speedrun of for a couple of years now. I set my PB about 10 months ago, 27:40. Since then, life, school, and other commitments have gotten real. I haven't had the chance to stream as much as I want to, or practice.
Anyway, I keep getting runs like 28:04, 29:40, 30:55, etc. Touching my PB, looks like I might set a new PB all the way up until the last stage or two, even if I fucked up at some point. The game is divided into 17 stages of increasing difficulty, and more of than not I have a World Record pace run for the first 6-10 stages, and then I hit some sort of RNG/luck/psychological wall and spend like 6 minutes on one stage. Not even the hardest one. This happens about 4 times in a row. 2.5 hours down the drain.
Spend a couple of hours doing work for Brood War. I honestly have done 10x more "work" related to Brood War than actually playing Brood War in the past 6 months. I hit my ICCup high of C+ 7 months ago. Now I am a middling 50% C-. I played about 5 games. Lost 2 of them to a person who is about A rank but playing on a D account. -124 points. Won a game against D+ player with 90% winrate. Gain 75 points. Lose to a player who is absolutely noob so I underestimated them and didn't defend my bases, and sent random armies to kill stuff without realizing he was hiding bases all over the map, because I am noob. Lose 62 points. Rematch the 90%-now-80% D+ player. I lose to an all-in push. I say "lol gg." He says "lol lol noob lol lol gtfo lol noob." I spend the next 3 minutes placing Pylons all over the map and then I afk and smoke a cigarette and remember that I am just trash at games. Felt like compounding that by watching some Melee videos, a game which I am even more trash at.
Went to sleep unhappy and woke up 5 hours later from a fucked up nightmare -__-; Now I'm dead tired and can't go back to sleep for 4 hours now. FML.

I don't have time to be a decent gamer but my brain is still in the denial stage , clinging to that part of my life.
When I do play games I still take it seriously and proceed to take a giant shit in the pool. This causes self hatred and rage
It's great.

welp, i watched a replay of that jerk/idiot Masters guy playing a 2v2 against a team i was on. After 15 minutes of very close fights my Ally managed to BLINK into his main with 10 Stalkers and he killed about 10 workers and 1 Barracks. The jerk/asshole gets pissed off and starts killing his allies units 1 by 1. LOL. At that point, even after our 1 small semi-successful attack the game was even and winnable by either side. this guy is an even bigger jerk than i thought. Also, his ally played well.

While I do still like playing online multiplayer games, I've also gotten into great single-player games. You should try that. Right now I'm playing Roller Coaster Tycoon Mobile, Dishonored 2, Shadow Tactics. Also recently played XCOM 2, Invisible Inc and Total War Warhammer, to name a few.
