One of the most interesting things that sets Starcraft apart from other esports is the fact that teams are not limited in size. You can have as many people as you want as long as you pay them. This however, creates what some might call an issue where you have teams of very large size with players you rarely get to see play as a result. So what if this were changed? What if KeSPA were to step in and say that team sizes in for Proleague were now fixed, and the number is relatively small. Massive reshuffling, obviously, as players are cut and new teams are formed. Here's my mock-up of what that new Proleague would look like.

I really like this idea, although I don't know how you'd talk KeSPA into doing it. It'd also help to show off some of the new blood, as well.

don't think the bigger teams would cut all their players, i think they'd have second teams aswell. Just look at other sports, you always want a place where you can easily test new players and recruit new people.

I agree, and even if Kespa didn't allow the second teams to participate in PL, they would still hire the players for practice (kinda what happens now in the Telecoms

)

Cool idea, but you might easily end up with B-teamers getting cut entirely and ending up on no Proleague team at all.

So then Pro League turns into 12 weeks a round, which turns into 52 weeks to complete a season. You want 12 months of pro league for 1 season? xD

Easiest way to fix is to add bo7 to the original pro league rounds so more can play not making more teams or pro league becomes a 12 month love affair.

I also want bo7's and an all-kill round but it's a cruel world

Bringing back 6 matches a week also enables more playmaking options in FPL but I don't think kespa will take that into consideration

12 months in a year. 12 months for proleague. I don't see the problem.

proleague until the 09-10 season had 12 teams(10-11 season had 10 teams) and they still did 7 weeks per round(2 matches per day some teams played twice in the same week), although they did have 2 channels broadcasting it at the same time compared what it is now, but its totally possible even with one.
