Chapter 19
S: What the hell do you think you’re doing...? WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?! DO YOU KNOW WHO THE FUCK I AM?!
A1: I do know who you are. This is precisely why I am doing this. You are not fit to lead anything or anyone. You’re a damn fool and everyone knows it.
S: Everyone? What the hell are you talking about?! WHAT IS THIS?!
A1: What is this? This is me showing you just how much of an incompetent imbecile you are. See you later “general” S, I have a company to takeover.
S: WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE, I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE YOU MOTHERFUCKER! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU WILL REGRET THE MOMENT YOU DECIDED TO CROSS ME!!!
A1: Hmmm… Yeah, good luck with that.
A1 laughed out loud, closed the door on S, and then proceed down the hall as he began dialing on his phone.
INCOMING CALL: A1
TEOITA: Hello?
A1: It’s me. S is fucked for good. Where are we at?
TEOITA: Almost done here on our end. I’d say, maybe, 5 more minutes?
A1: Hurry the hell up. I gave you like, one thing to do, why are you still not done?!
TEOITA: Heh, you sound just like S. You should be careful, if you start treating us like S, we’ll mutiny your ass too.
A1: Shut the hell up and just get it over with already. We’re already way behind schedule as it is.
TEOITA: Like I said, we’re almost done here. Calm your tits man.
A1: JUST GET IT DONE!
END CALL
A1: For fucks sakes, no wonder S got so pissed off all the time. These idiots would need extra help just to steal candy from babies.
At the end of the hallway in which A1 was walking on were two gigantic double doors. When he reached them, he pushed them open, smiled, and walked inside to S’ office. As he chuckled viciously, A1 slowly ambled over to S’ chair and sat down.
A1: (looks around the room) Heh… My room now bitches…
Within TL headquarters, chaos was ensuing everywhere. In three separate locations, three critical battles were going on all at once. However, no one could have predicted just exactly what was about to happen next from deep down in TL’s underground basement operations room.
TEOITA: Is it here?
PPINGU: I think so. I’m hoping I got all my info right. Keep checking.
TEOITA: Oh wait, I think I see it. (Heavy grunt as he pushes aside an old and abandoned bookshelf) Umph! There we go… Yup, here it is.
PPINGU: Nice work. Open the doors and let’s get started.
With a giant heave, the door opened as it creaked loudly. The room inside was dusty and the air was warm and muggy. It was clearly a room that had not been used in years. Teoita and pPingu walked across the room as they cautiously avoided all the shambles and debris on the floor. When they reached what looked like a beaten up and broken computer, they stopped in their tracks.
TEOITA: Looks like this is it.
PPINGU: It has to be. There are no other computers here.
TEOITA: Can we turn on a fucking light or something? This place is depressing, just look at it!
PPINGU: Whatever. I don’t care. Go find a light if you want. I’ll see if I can start this thing up.
As pPingu tinkered around with the computer, Teoita put his hands on the walls and began moving around as he searched for a switch or a button. After about two minutes with no success, Teoita suddenly came across a giant lever that was dirty and covered in spider webs.
TEOITA: Ugh! Why the hell are we in this room… (brushes the spider webs and the dirt aside) And Teoita said, let there be light! (pushes the lever up)
The second Teoita pushed the lever up, the room suddenly came to life. The dim and murky room lit up as bright as anyone had ever seen as almost a hundred lights came on at once. The machines that were quiet and still all of a sudden started whirring and making static noises. As such, even the computer that pPingu was messing around with came on.
PPINGU: Oh shit. Nice work Teo.
TEOITA: Oh what was that? Earlier, didn’t you say something about not caring?
PPINGU: Wow, get off your high horse. You found one lever and you pushed it up. You want a fucking award or something?
TEOITA: … Damn you’re mean… I thought we were teammates or shit like that…
PPINGU: We are teammates. But I’m busy and don’t really have the time to spoon feed you compliments every time you do something “good.” Now, leave me alone while I figure out the coding on this thing.
TEOITA: …Geez you’re boring. I should have gotten paired up with someone more fun.
PPINGU: Piss off, I’m working.
With a look of pure determination on his face, pPingu steadily started inputting heaps and heaps of codes into the system in front of him. After doing this for about ten minutes, he finally stopped typing, breathed out loud, and called Teoita over.
PPINGU: Done! Get over here Teo, I’m going to start it up!
TEOITA: Took you long enough. I was playing tic tac toe on my own over there, that’s how bored I was.
PPINGU: And I’m sure you lost to yourself as well.
TEOITA: You saying I’m stupid?
PPINGU: (rapidly typing) I’m saying I don’t really care what you do. As long as you don’t bother me, I’m okay with you running around like an idiot.
TEOITA: I seriously want to kick your ass right now. Just shove my fist up your asshole, grab your innards, pull them out, and choke you with them.
PPINGU: (typing as he completes the final steps) And when you attempt that, I’ll just go ahead and kill you. I’ll gouge your eyes out so that you go blind, pull all your teeth out, force you to suck on my cock, shit all over your face, and then stab you like fifty times or something like that. You know, a death fit for a fool.
TEOITA: …
PPINGU: Wow, you do know how to shut up. Good stuff bro~
TEOITA: … You done hurting my feelings?
PPINGU: I’m done inputting the codes, yes.
TEOITA: That didn’t answer my question.
PPINGU: Because I wasn’t trying to answer your question. (gets up from the ground) Alright, I’m ready to start it up. You good?
TEOITA: …
PPINGU: Good, here we go.
TEOITA: No. Stop.
PPINGU: (abruptly stops) What’s up?
Teoita didn’t say another word. He just walked back over to where the lever was, gripped it, and then stood there as he stared at pPingu.
TEOITA: I want an apology.
PPINGU: You want a what?
TEOITA: An apology. Apologize to me right now or I’m pulling this lever back down and shutting everything off. You’ll lose all your work and you’ll have to start over from scratch.
PPINGU: … Please tell me you’re joking.
TEOITA: Say you’re sorry. You hurt my feelings.
PPINGU: Are you serious right now? Are we really doing this?
TEOITA: You caused this to happen, fucker. (starts pulling the lever down)
PPINGU: WAIT STOP! OKAY, OKAY FINE! I’M SORRY! SHEESH!
TEOITA: Sorry for what?
PPINGU: I’M SORRY FOR INSULTING YOU AND HURTING YOUR FEELINGS.
TEOITA: And?
PPINGU: AND?! … AND… I’m sorry for… Well… What else is there?
TEOITA: Say you’re sorry for saying that you don’t care about what I do. That’s not something a teammate should say to another teammate.
PPINGU: … Teo, go to hell…
TEOITA: (shrugs his shoulders) Suit yourself (starts pulling the lever again)
PPINGU: OH MY FUCKING- OKAY FINE! I’M SORRY FOR WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE WHOLE TEAMMATE STUFF! I TREASURE YOU AND THINK YOU ARE THE BEST PARTNER ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE! SATISFIED?!
TEOITA: Yes, thank you. You may proceed (lets the lever go).
PPINGU: … Why the fuck did we just do that? What was the whole point of that?!
TEOITA: Synchronicity dude. If we’re not on the same page, then we won’t do well in the future.
PPINGU: What future?
TEOITA: Yours and mine of course.
PPINGU: What are you… I don’t even… OMFG! I’M JUST GOING TO START THIS!
And with that final comment, pPingu furiously hit the ‘Enter’ button. Instantly, as soon as the enter button had been hit, the machines started lighting up in all sorts of colors and an enormous burst of energy caused the room to start shaking. Suddenly, a burst of light emitted from the center of the room, and a shockwave exploded out of the ground and headed straight up towards the ceiling and went through it.
PPINGU: Whoa… Holy shit… I was not expecting that…
TEOITA: Yeah… Wow… Well… Partner, get ready for the next phase because the real fun starts now… I’m excited to see the new and improved Plexa.
PPINGU: Agreed. Although… At any point, do you think this could come back to bite us in the ass?
TEOITA: I don’t think so. What do you think could possibly happen?
PPINGU: I’m not exactly sure… But I do know that the converting of Plexa was highly advised against by… Well… You know…
TEOITA: … Well… It’s too late now…
PPINGU: Yeah… Fuck… I hope we did the right thing…
TEOITA: Dude, don’t worry… I’m sure that- Err… I’m sure that… Umm…
Without another word, pPingu and Teoita just stared at each other and simultaneously gulped.
Nazgul slowly took one step forward and embraced himself. Plexa stayed low and took a defensive position. They both looked into each other’s eyes and grinned. Despite the circumstances, they couldn’t deny that the fight was exhilarating. Nazgul took one final breath, gripped his fists, and pounced forward.
Before Nazgul could land a single blow however, he stopped dead in his tracks. Plexa had suddenly fallen to the ground and looked to be writhing in pain.
NAZGUL: Plexa! Plexa what’s wrong?! Plexa!!!
Plexa did not respond. He continued to lie face down on the ground and just flinched every now and then. Nazgul carefully bent down near the ground and tried to assess the situation. He couldn’t really see Plexa’s face so he had no idea if Plexa was okay or not. Nazgul gently tried to tap on Plexa’s shoulder as his worry grew larger and larger.
NAZGUL: Plexa… Can you speak? Are you feeling alright?
PLEXA: …
NAZGUL: Plexa, come on, SAY SOMETHING!
PLEXA: …
NAZGUL: Do you need help? Want me to get Smix? Please, just say anything…
PLEXa: …
NAZGUL: Alright… Well, I have no idea what’s going on with you but I think you need to get checked out. Just stay here, I’ll go get some help.
Right as Nazgul turned around to walk out of his room, Plexa suddenly got up and stood still as he stared at Nazgul. Nazgul, upon hearing movement from Plexa, quickly turned around to see if Plexa was okay, but instantly froze in place upon seeing Plexa. In a matter of minutes, Plexa’s physical appearance had changed drastically. His eyes looked dead and cold, there were blue veins popping from everywhere on his body, and he had absolutely no life in his face. It was as if Nazgul was staring into the face of a thoughtless human being whose soul had been stolen from him.
NAZGUL: What… What the… What the hell? Plexa… Why do you look so different?
PLEXA: …
NAZGUL: Plexa, listen to me, there’s definitely something going on here. Stay here for a minute, and I’ll be right back-
Before Nazgul could finish his story, Plexa had leapt forward with blinding speed, and had smashed his fist into Nazgul’s ribs. Stunned by this sudden movement and action, Nazgul did not notice the pain at first, but gradually he realized that pain was starting to shoot up all up and down his body.
NAZGUL: (clutching his ribs) GGRRRRAAAHHHH!! Wha… Wha… What the… What the hell?! Plexa, what the hell is happening to you-
Once again, Plexa did not allow Nazgul any time to finish his sentence. He quickly did an uppercut and bashed Nazgul’s chin so hard that Nazgul actually flew off into the air. Then, with a swift and precise move, Plexa positioned himself behind Nazgul, kicked Nazgul full force in the back and shot him off into the other direction. Nazgul’s body went flying through the air and smashed full force into a nearby bookshelf.
NAZGUL: GRRRRAAAAHHHHH! Ugh…. GAHHHHH! (slowly trying to get up) Braguh… Ugh… Uggghhhhh…
It took all the energy inside Nazgul to get back up. He could taste blood in his mouth, feel that his ribs were shattered, and see that he could barely stand up straight. Nazgul’s head was spinning like crazy on the inside; both from the impact and his attempt to comprehend just what was going on. Unfortunately for Nazgul, Plexa was already standing in front of him. Thinking as quickly as he could, Nazgul mustered all the strength left in him and dove straight at Plexa in hopes that a surprise attack could buy him some time. But without blinking or moving from his spot, Plexa blocked Nazgul’s punch by gripping his fist before it could ever make impact. Plexa then used his other hand to clasp it around Nazgul’s neck and began choking him.
NAZGUL: Bllurrghhh (gurgling and struggling to get his words out) Plexa… Please… (coughs) Stop this…
Again, without saying a word, Plexa just stared into Nazgul’s eyes. Then, without any warning, he forcefully dragged Nazgul across the ground and headed in the direction where the two had previously fought before. Once he reached his destination, Plexa bent down, and picked up the gun that Nazgul had dropped before. Then, before Nazgul could tell what was going on, Plexa had pointed the gun straight at Nazgul’s forehead.
NAZGUL: Plexa- Wha… What are you… Plexa… Don’t… Don’t… (coughing and gagging) Grrraagghhh! PLEXA!
There were no words from Plexa. He just continued to stare straight into Nazgul’s eyes. Nazgul didn’t see any form of life whatsoever from Plexa’s eyes. This was not Plexa anymore. This was some soulless shadow of what Plexa once was, and Nazgul helplessly just stood there as he realized that his friend was no longer there.
NAZGUL: Plexa… Please…
PLEXA: …
NAZGUL: Plexa… Please… Please don’t… (coughs and gags)
PLEXA: …
NAZGUL: PLEXA PLEASE!!! PLEXAAAAAA!!!
Plexa: (smiles) Who is Plexa?
NAZGUL: … What… What did you just say-
Without saying another word, Plexa pulled the trigger and busted a bullet straight through Nazgul’s forehead. In an instant, blood splattered everywhere around the two. After standing there for a good minute, Plexa decided it was time to move on. With his hand still clasped firmly around Nazgul’s neck, Plexa slowly lowered Nazgul’s body down on to the ground, and then released his grip once Nazgul was lying down. Plexa stood still as he stared into Nazgul’s eyes. He slowly looked up and down and carefully examined the body that lay before him. He then smiled, turned around, and began to walk away. There was no point in staying in that room anymore. There was no way that Nazgul’s lifeless body would ever move again.
