Chapter 12

Sitting there on the cold surface as he held his friend’s dead body, Kadaver could not think of a time in his life where he felt more torn apart on the inside. The tears that continued to stream down his face did not seem to want to stop anytime soon. His friend’s final supportive smile that was etched on the unmoving face was too much to look at, and Kadaver had to eventually turn his face away towards the other direction. After what seemed like forever, Kadaver was finally about to stand up and get a grip on himself when all of a sudden he heard a phone ring.
Kadaver looked down towards where the sound was coming from. From Waxangel’s pocket, there was a dim light that was shining through and the sound of a phone ringing could definitely be heard. Kadaver rummaged around in Wax’s pocket for a bit and then pulled out the phone. The caller ID could not recognize the number, so Kadaver answered it with caution.


KADAVERBB: …Hello?
S: Did you enjoy my little gift?
KADAVERBB: …W-who is this?!
S: Oh come on Kadaver, don’t tell me you forgot my voice already.
KADAVERBB: …
S: Come on… Almost there~
KADAVERBB: … S…
S: Bingo! You won! Thanks for playing!
KADAVERBB: You… You… You son of a bitch… You killed Wax didn’t you?
S: Wow. You’ve gotten so good at this game now.
KADAVERBB: GOD DAMN YOU AND EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU! I WILL KILL YOU, YOU HEAR ME?!
S: But… But… I thought Wax wanted to die… Why else would he come all the way here all on his own and try to disrupt my plans?
KADAVERBB: I’m hanging up now. The next time we talk, you’ll be begging for mercy and for me spare your life.
S: Hmm… I guess it was foolish of me to expect a pleasant conversation to occur. Meh, oh well. Do your best, I’m rooting for ya!



As soon as S hung up, Kadaver threw the phone on to the ground, and stomped it to millions of pieces. Fuming with anger and unable to think properly, Kadaver reloaded his gun, cocked it back, and headed straight back towards S’ building. He didn’t care that he was alone and that he had no backup because all Kadaver cared about at that moment was putting a bullet right through S’ skull.







As Plexa headed downstairs towards Disneyland, there was a sinking feeling inside his stomach that just wouldn’t go away. Once he reached the security doors, he realized immediately that the alarm system had been busted and that all the doors were open. He quickly headed inside and ran as fast as he could towards cell C. It wasn’t until he finally got to cell C’s main desk when he stopped at the sight of Teoita’s body lying on the ground.

PLEXA: Son of a… TEO! Teo are you okay?!
TEOITA: …
PLEXA: Damn it Teo! Wake up! (slapping Teo in the face)
TEOTIA: … Ugh…
PLEXA: Teo what happened?! What the hell happened?!
TEOTIA: Stop… Hitting me… I’m awake…
PLEXA: (shakes him vigorously) What happened here?! Where is everyone?
TEOITA: Zero...
PLEXA: Zero? What about Zero?
TEOITA: Zero attacked me…
PLEXA: What?! Why would Zero attack you?!
TEOITA: No idea (slowly gets up) Maybe Zero has some ulterior motive he’s not telling us. Maybe he’s working for the other side.
PLEXA: What other side?
TEOITA: You know… pPingu’s side.
PLEXA: Did you get him to talk?
TEOITA: Yeah. He talked.
PLEXA: What did he say?
TEOITA: A lot of things. For one thing, he was definitely trying to kill lichter.
PLEXA: Holy shit. What?!
TEOITA: Yeah. We definitely have a problem here. TL staff has been compromised and we have members double crossing us left and right.
PLEXA: Did he say how deep this thing goes?
TEOITA: …
PLEXA: What? Why aren’t you saying anything?
TEOITA: …You may want to sit down for this part.
PLEXA: Teo, I don’t have time to sit down and listen to a story. Just get it out already. Who’s behind this?
TEOITA: It’s just that… You’re not going to believe this when I say it…
PLEXA: Spit it out! We don’t have time!
TEOITA: … (sighs) pPingu said… Nazgul’s behind all this…
PLEXA: …Wha… WHAT?!
TEOITA: I told you…
PLEXA: That’s preposterous! There’s no way Nazgul’s behind this.
TEOITA: Hey, imagine how shocked I was…
PLEXA: I… You… What the fuck is going on…?
TEOITA: That’s what I said… What’s worse, pPingu escaped during the explosions, so now we need to be on red alert.
PLEXA: What? He escaped?
TEOITA: Yeah. I was trying to find out where he went to, and that’s when Zero knocked me unconscious.
PLEXA: I can’t believe this…
TEOITA: Neither can I, but I’m afraid we don’t have another second to waste. So here’s what we should do. Leave tracking down the traitors to me. I’ll gather up all the TL strat people and we’ll track down Zero and pPingu. Meanwhile, you need to go confront Nazgul and try to stop him before anyone else gets hurt.
PLEXA: …But… This is all just too…
TEOITA: LISTEN TO ME! Every second you waste pondering about what to do gives them more opportunities to carry out whatever it is they’re trying to do! So you can either stand here and stay dumbfounded for the rest of the day, or you can man the fuck up and do your TL admin duties!
PLEXA: …You know what? You’re right… Thanks Teo… I trust you to take care of this. Keep me posted.

And with that Plexa sprinted out as fast he could from cell C and headed back out into the main hallway.

TEOITA: … (looks to his right) You can come out now.
PPINGU: (slowly coming out of the room he was hiding in) Think he bought it?
TEOITA: It looked like it. I hope this works out. The only surefire way this plan will work is if Plexa loses his trust in Nazgul.
PPINGU: Yeah. That shouldn’t be too difficult. Nazgul kept the whole Waffles thing from him after all.
TEOITA: We need to get a move on. We’re behind schedule right now.
PPINGU: Good point. Let’s go.

With that, Teoita and pPingu both turned around and began to head out of cell C. As they headed out, they passed by the room in which the rest of the unconscious TL strat people were being held.







In a dark and dimly lit hallway, A0 was impatiently pacing back and forth. Suddenly, he heard a noise that stopped him right in his tracks. He slowly reached into his pocket for his knife and crept silently towards the direction of the noise.

LICHTER: (appearing out of the shadows) Relax, it’s me.
A0: (sigh of relief) Don’t sneak up on me like that. I was about to kill you.
LICHTER: Isn’t that what you want?
A0: Well sure, but not now.
LICHTER: …
A0: Anyways, do you have him?
LICHTER: Yeah. He’s right here.
A0: Excellent. Let me talk to him.

Lichter turned around and looked at a figure standing behind him, he motioned his head forward as he pushed this figure forward towards A0.

A0: Welcome, welcome, welcome. Good to see you.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: …Who… Who are you…?
A0: Just call me A0. There’s no need for you to know my identity dear Chapa.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: Chapa? Who… Who is Chapa?
A0: Well that’s who you are. You are ChapatiyaqPTSM and you are the lead in charge of Project HerO.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: I am…?
A0: Not to worry. You may have forgotten who you are but your Liquipedia skills are still intact. You will be fine.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: F-fine for what?
A0: Your mission Chapa.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: My… Mission?
A0: Yes, your mission. You have a very important role in my plan Chapa. You should be honored.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: I… Um… I’m honored… Thank you A0.
A0: You are most welcome. Now, since pPingu’s identity has been compromised, S can no longer use him to infiltrate Liquipedia. (points to Chapa) That’s where you come in.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: Oh… Okay…
A0: I will explain everything to you in due time. For now, just head on over to the Liquipedia control center with lichter here. I will debrief you on everything you need to do once you get there.
CHAPTIYAQPTSM: Umm… Yes, sir…
LICHTER: Let’s go Chapa.

Led by lichter, Chapa slowly walked away from A0 and headed out towards the main hallway. Right before they turned the corner, lichter quickly glanced over to A0 and their gazes met. A0 gave a menacing smirk and nodded his head. lichter responded with a nod of his own and then continued to walk until he was out of A0’s sight.

A0: So… It begins… I sure hope you don’t hate me for this S… After all, you said so yourself that only the one with most power and control should be in charge. I’m just trying to make that saying come true…

And with that, A0 slowly walked out of the dim hallway and headed out towards the main hallway as well; laughing like a maniac along the way.
